managment released a small holiday greeting clip . it's a nice gesture and a true sighn that tgood things are coming. crellin even acknowledges that this is a first for him.

you can also go on the hub and check it out. sorry if this has been posted already.

why is it an embarrasement? i think it's nice that they did something like this. the old management would have never thought of doing anyhting remotely close to this.

732 Guy, I dont think it was supposed to be some slick production, and I did have a laugh at the end. I saw it as thoughtful, something I have never seen in the past, and I appreciated the thought.

One thing is clear. Management is very easy going. Scott Kirby's crack on Elise Eberwine was funny.

WOW, this is not the "old" usairways any more, the video is a testament to that(and thats a GOOD thing!). Uncle Al seemed a bit uneasy, did u see him fidgeting w/his glasses. LOL. He acknowledges his age, maybe he'll recognize his need to retire!!!

Great effort!!!(next time look into the camera folks!)

Any chance a customer could see this as well?

Edited later: Never mind its on justplanenews.com

I thought it was goofy, but a refreshing change. I just can't picture Chris Chiames or Jerry Glass doing this or being sincere for that matter. A new era has indeed arrived for US Airways -- a positive era, thank God!

larry does always wear a tie...and almost always a suit coat also. neither fit well, but larry is a most likable person and he wants employees to love HP/US as much as he does.

Your "Cool Northern Effiency" quote is a good example of why Usairways has not succeded to date. You bring up the past of a company (PIA) that sold you out for money period. I think your thinking of looking back makes it difficult to move forward. You blame all the bad things on management that has not been on the property for many years. We went from northern to midwest to southern Alabama leadership. Well, now we are going west young man and we are still here.

The video is no different than our family videos, silly and fun. At least someone is trying to reach out to the employees and accepting them for who they are.

Optimistic yet cautious.
