Now let me toss this out here. People think that Teddy has done something wrong, but how about the Council 70 LECP now, who OWES AFA 8278.45 and who also recieved over 500 dollars in parking tickets in Philadelphia when she was VP in council 70. Can we say Misappropriation of AFA funds?LETS talk about who has done something wrong! Or how about the last MECP who got recalled for porn a few years ago got re elected and then when he left office when his term was up once again before Teddy had porn on his computer again. So really lets look at what others have done. I would say Teddy smells like a complete rose against these other yahoos. Just a flight attendant,Teddy did nothing wrong so I guess people should focus on these other two and bring them into the spot light instead of Teddy.

Interesting. . .someone offers her a special deal that no other flight attendant gets. . .namely the gold travel pass for which she is not eligible. . .and people act likes she's a saint

as a union officer, she had an obligation to immediately reject that offer from the company last april when it was made to her. . .she should have also immediately notfied AFA Legal and International, and the Department of Labor.

instead, she did nothing. . .regardlesss of her intentions, that looks bad and it really stinks. . .makes one wonder if it had not become public, would she have taken this?

My understanding is that she did not recognize it, therefore rejecting it or accepting it is a non issue and she did nothing wrong. This whole thing shouldn't have been given any substance by the MEC.
But this is just the left hand corner of the big picture, which is after all, 'weeding' out any bulls that may affect the proportional seniority integration voting that your management desperately needs and wants. I suspect things will get interesting but in the end, the MEC and all other unions on the property will make seniority integration issues 'seamless' regardless of inequitable factors.

This same union management-shill rep wrote up a f/a who put a friend in first class, and was told by the ex LECP of PHL that as a union rep you can't write up f/as and then in the same instance defend f/as. She was forced to go back up and retrieve her letter from the Base manager.

My flight was carrying a deadheading CRAF crew. My "A" F/A was improperly placing her friends and children (very young kids) up in first-class (intl), out of seniority and in violation of company policy and procedures. (You know, seniority is sort of a union thing. Had you understood that, you would not have tried to negotiate a separate deal just for yourself, out of seniority)

When confronted, the "A" would not listen and became very agitated.

I am disappointed the rep withdrew the letter as I withheld my letter on the basis that she was going to handle it.

and for you, ...bull. In the interest of well informed FA group, you may wish to present the entire story rather just parts.

I don't care what the reason is or what the rest of the story is....AFA IS NOT IN THE POSITION TO WRITE UP F/AS, THAT IS THE COMPANIES JOB. DON'T BE SO STUPID!!!!

Ah, eye.

The problem was, those employees were upgraded out of seniority. You know, seniority, something that you use when you are "non-reving", something you use when bidding or in order to determine who plays what position on a trip.

As far as parking tickets, can't help you there. Don't know anything about that. I'll find out, however, and I bet whoever it is will be happy to pay the tickets, should you pay your matching funds in Pat Robertson's 700 Club.
