I thought Gov Bobby Jindal would have been a better choice. Either way, anybody but Biden.

And women would gravitate to a woman ... what of it? The point is so far in 200+ years of presidential elections we have only had 2 female nominees for VP and only one non-white male for POTUS. Fairly non-reflective of the US population.

He knows the budget better than anyone in the country including everyone at the White House and he is honest about how bad it is even at his own electoral peril. We should respect and praise that kind of honesty from a politician.

Funny!
I confess to not being a giant fan of Paul Ryan. He's young, reasonable articulate and strident. Not afraid to stand up and face the fire. Good traits to have. However I have to ask, is he ready to lead the nation should Romney die in office?
If your answer is Maybe then your answer is really NO! I just can't envision a President Ryan going face to face with Putin successfully. I also can't envision either implementing a non interventionist foreign policy which would save the government Trillions that could either be cut or repurposed for domestic spending with little effect on National defense. Huge effect on our overseas empire that he doesn'y have the testosterone to challenge.
If I were Romney he wouldn't be my first choice. I kinda liked Bobby Jindal partly because he is a person of color and it would take away the race card completely. Especially since he isn't African American.
