Latest Bid out for November has 165 Pilot recalls. 🙂

Yep. That ought to do it.

10% acceptance rate. It should clean out the remainder of the furlough list, generate significant hiring, and end my participation on this message board.

Thank you for all of the information you've provided over the last several years. My best to Kevin and the other admin here. If anybody ever finds themselves in XNA drop me a line.

Best regards,
Mike

So, expect about 16 pilots to start class and maybe 5 of those to drop in the first week.

So, 11 left and that eliminates the furlough vote in the decert drive.

Ohh Junebug...Let's not forget the 2000+ active Pilots who have had it with ALPO.

so does that mean 0 furloughed pilots for the east mainline now?

Puhhleeez... ALPO will always view them as the furloughed pilots. <_<

It will take another month or two for all the class dates to start but the furloughed list will be exhausted by then.

2,000? Is the number so low already. At least 600-700 of the original furlough list will be eligible to vote. The are also a significant number of Military Leave folks who accepted recall (but didn't come back to property, meaning two active pilots sit in many slots) and are active and able to vote.

What's this mean for mainline hiring 3, 6, 9 or even 12 months from now? How many 20-somethings will be moving up from Express to begin their long, healthy careers at USAirways?

Great...just in time for the economic downturn. I will be interesting to see how this mismanagement team mismanages this recession.

You'd be surprised at the age of some of the CEL's and other Express pilots. I know a few Mesa CRJ drivers that are in their 40s.. youngest captain i know is 32. I can't speak for Republic & Chautauqua, but Trans States & Air Wisconsin also have a few senior drivers....

Dream on chief. Your top 500 guys plus your GAGers means you have no chance.

But hang on to that one if it keeps you going!!!

New hires coming in September. All furloughees have been recalled.
Good luck to all of you guys/gals in your futures.
