Not a valid sample! It's meaningless! Point of fact is Bruse's Salary IS defensable by several standards or benchmarks.

You want to prove your theory? go to other union websites and post the executive compensation of those unions with similar membership numbers to the IAM and then you will have both an interesting & valid assement for whether IAM executives are over or under compensated versus their peers in other unions.

In fact I'm surprised you haven't done that already unless you did and the numbers were so unfavorable that you dare not post them!

How is Bruce's salary defensible when the CEOs of WN and B6 which are very profitable make less then the worst financial shaped airline which has been in bankruptcy twice in less then two years?

Dave came on board and recieved a $750,000 signing bonus, a $750,000 a year in salary, $24,000 in moving expenses.

He earned over $8 million in his first year.

The took a paycut of 20% to $600,000 a year and left with $4.5 million in severance.

Mechanics, Related Workers, and FSA's have nobody to blame but their union.

Industry fundamentals dictate change in labor contracts and the IAM cuts did not have to be so deep, however, the IAM's approach hurt its members.

You can say that again. Heard MOC personnel are beside themselves. They say morale in that department is at an all time low. What's even worse is that there are approximately 40 guys and 3 managers. 3 MANAGERS!!!! Plus an operational manager at all times. Definitely overstaffed with management there. I wonder what would happen if MOC decided to participate in a "Sick Out". Gee, next in line for big screen TV's maybe... Upper management needs to check their organizational charting and lose some of their own fat.

You can't defend the indefensible despite how many union/propaganda slogans you post, despite how many songs you may sign and post on here, despite how many website links get posted. It's not about being a union hater. It's about getting out the information you work so hard to obscure with your propaganda from the hall.

OH....that's certainly clears it all up huh 700. Nothing earth shattering there or ever for that matter when it comes to your postings. It's always the same, always has been the same and will remain the same. That is true of the IAM and why you and the leadership you promote will go down in history as the leader(less)ship that lost the most for it's members, took the most from it's members, failed to put any type of vision forward for it's membership, failed to plan, failed to perform, gained the least and put the labor movement in this country back 50 years due to all the above. The dark days of the labor movement are today and YOU are the type of person that is leading the charge. You're leaving quite a legacy behind and unfortunately someone will have to come forward someday and clean up the mess you and yours are creating. Unfortunately for them you're not done yet.
