Good news and bad news.
Good:
The Carolina Hurricanes are in the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs!
Bad:
The ticket prices went up $10.00 per seat. If they make it to the next round the seats go up another $10.00 and so on. Since I bought tickets early, due to having season tickets, I did get them cheaper than if I'd waited until the last minute.
If I and miss a game, I don't get to use that ticket for a subsequent game nor do I get credit towards a future purchase!
Should I just go and watch an AHL game since it is cheaper, although I'd have to drive an extra 2 hours to Charlotte to get there?
Should they raise prices just because the demand is there?
Should the prices go up as the game gets closer and they sell out?
Should my tickets be refundable? (after all there may be an empty seat at the next game.)
Are they gouging me?
(Does this sound familiar?)
Let's Go 'Canes!!!
