What's new

New AA Union Drive

Was told by a mech passing out AMP info that there are about 150 cards signed at ORD, and about 3000 in TUL.

Im right there with ya Odie. Only 1 more day to wait. You could feel the tension in the air on bay 4 today, also the 107 degree temp.....
I voted NO.

I was wondering if someone from the AMP could answer this question. I was reviewing the AMP Constitution and was looking at Article III section 1. B. and was trying to understand who an "Honorary Member" may be. It reads that they are not required to be within the Mechanic and Related or Stores Craft at American Airlines. Why does the AMP see a need for an outside honorary member? What is up with this?

I recall seeing something similar to this when the AMFA had a Real Estate Tycoon signing off on their agreements only because he said it was an "Honor Bestowed upon Him" to sign off on their agreements. Through this, he was reaping rewards off the backs of the AMFA members back in the day....What is up with this AMP?..... Please explain

From the blog in the Star Telegram we should know something by tomorrow afternoon. We are so screwed if this passes.

Does the name Charles Taylor ring a bell, why would one limit the group that you could bestow Honorary Membership on. its funny you ask but everyone in the craft and classes named at AA can be a member only someone from outside would need Honorary membership. Duh?

Now boys this is a stretch even for you.

Hey, just thought I would ask. I found it strange especially since McKormick the Real Estate Tycoon over at AMFA back in the day was getting a pretty good chunk off the memberships dues.

If you missed out on the AMP shirts at AFW we have another order on the way. Check with your contacts, I think their are a few shirts left.
Thanks

Got shirts here in DFW. Comfortable and the cost goes to a great cause. I am proud to wear a shirt that promotes a craft, democratic union!

GO AMP!

UP at ORD haven't heard much about AMP drive lately, is it still going strong at TUL? Can it be said how many cards are signed already?

Want a shirt, I can get you a shirt, just tell me where your at in TULE. You seem interested, Interested!

Nope, probably wouldn't wear one. I also don't wear a TWU shirt either. Duke787 was asking about the drive in TULE. I was just saying I haven't seen any AMP shirts around the base.

Thank you AFW union brothers and sisters for buying AMP shirts, out of two hundred we are down to thirteen left. The next batch should be dark blue to hide grease, eng oil, and coffee stains. If you haven't signed an AMP card yet, and have a question, please get with your contacts.
Thanks,
