Your ignorance regarding this industry, as well as US Airways history, is there for all to see in that post. Along with you spelling ability and use of complete sentences.
Someday you will figure it out. Bottom line is that you really need to start understanding who controls things in this industry. Who it is that decides who fails or who doesn't. Do you honestly think the merger would have happened if the money guys didn't want it to happen. It has nothing to do with pilot groups, pay givebacks, seniority lists, career expectations, fuel, yields or anything you or I deem important.
And just so you know, All American Aviation started with 1 plane and an airmail contract. After you do some research on how that turned into the piece of crap company you now work for then you can lecture me on what a two bit airline is or isn't.
Now go get a real pair of shoes, throw away your backpack, leather jacket with epaulets and sunglass lanyard and start acting like a professional airline pilot. You owe what you do for a living to the men who came before you. You and your Mesa/AWA counterparts need to understand you have to keep the profession for the guys that come after you. Not to turn it into a free for all throwing out seniority and other pilots because of your selfish interests and "career expectations".
Oh yeah, one more point, do you have any idea when PSA merged with US Air and who we were competing with on the west coast? Do some research before you make posts you know nothing about.
