I'm glad to know that there are 2 types of jackets for guys.

I prefer the short jacket with zipper, so I'll be ordering that with the mock turtle.
I can't wait to see them. 🙂

No, but the skirts have a lot of hidden "elastic" inside for those who many need a little extra breathing room. Stan said he put it inside so you can't see the elastic bunching up like a "marshmallow."

no pictures were allowed at the road shows becasue they did not want amateur photographs to take away from the uniforms so they will be publishing proffessional photos in the coming weeks for everyone to see.

I also saw them today in PHL. They finished up early in PHL too. The uniforms are still navy. There was a navy suit that looks similar to what we have now. The pants and the skirt both have elastic in the waist on the inside. The outside looks normal. That is a plus because if you gain a few pounds you will still fit in your uniforms. The jacket has lots of pockets on the inside, including one for your pens. It looked like there were two pockets on the outside of the suit. The jacket was light weight. The pants have a back pocket. There was also a two piece suit that was navy. I wasn't too crazy about it. A lot of people seemed to really like it but I would not be caught dead in it. I just thought it looked frumpy. Maybe once I try it on I will change my mind. I would have to do a lot of tailoring to the top. The material is stretchy. The top is also short sleeves, so I might have to wear a sweater over it on the airplane. I don't think it was designed for that though. The navy is lighter/brighter than what we currently have.

My friend called and said he saw them today. He mentioned they looked "retro" due to the styling. He also said the material was alot like what Burger King uses. He thought if you back up into something it would ruin or pull the material. Would you agree? I have not seen them so this is 2nd hand. thanks

I would not agree at all. There is a dark blue polo shirt, but that is for the agents only. Stan Herman put a lot of time into this design with a LOT of feedback from FA's. I doubt he did not test the durability of the material....

totally agree with you itestwell. saw them in bos. sharp uniforms. can't wait to where the vest!!! yeah baby !! lol!!

The colors are: navy, regular blue, light blue, and white.

To be more specific, the regular blue is more in the area of royal blue....very nice. 🙂

To answer the question on the Flat vs. Pleated pants. From Stan Hermans mouth...the pant will not come in anything but flat front. Unless, they get lots of requests from the surveys that were in the show.
