What airline would welcome the East into there fold willingly? 🙄 You wish for a break up or a sell off, do you realize there will be massive job losses this time? Are so lost in hate that you don't care about your coworkers or yourself for that matter? It's fun to speculate but if something starts to go down don't come on here complaining that your gonna lose your job, airlines are awful, unions are worthless etc. etc.

The only merger I see that makes sense would be "yous" and NW. They are probably more ready for acquisition than anybody else you can call a major carrier in the US. There are so many things operationally that scream compatibility. Plus, their labor groups have probably suffered just as much if not more in the past 2 years. They might actually be relieved at merging with "yous".

Understand the USAirways sits on $3 Billion and with access to large lines of credit. This is unpopular to the rain clouds here but USAirways will be driving not sitting cherry on the next round of CEO gorging. BTW what kind of morons wish the demise on there own chosen place of employment.

In addition a certain something was to happen on Sept 21 and it has been haulted since a big announcement will be out regarding a split up of the company. Guys in red lanyards know that story.
