I swear, every year a rumor starts circulating about a "big" announcement in October. And it's usually some kind of BS that doesn't really matter.

However, I will be keeping my legs crossed.

Does that mean you want another merger, buyout to happen? I for one wish Dougie would fix this mess of a merger first, try to make it work, v.s sell us to the highest bidder?! We actually are in better shape then most larger carriers financially. But greed goes a long way. So I can see him selling us out when the best opportunity happens. He could careless about us frontliners! Sad. 🙄

I'd like to see DP roll up his sleeves and get out on the line and throw some bags, do some personal research on a proper international service, hire a real aircraft cleaning company(inside & out), & get rid of this dog of a revs system. (no offense to dogs) Instruct his negotiators to stop dragging out the negotiations and give labor want it wants & needs.
And demand from his underlings real solutions...not a bunch of "ivory tower yes" people. Demand and expect excellence in all arenas of this company. Including himself. I'm tired of listening to "sloppy joe" making excuses for poor performance and being a poor listener. He is a poor listener to his employees as well as his customers.

And that is going to be our undoing if DP does get off the pot and start leading by example.

You have great points. He really needs a touch of reality big time!! Isn't amazing how many "hat trick" payments were made during the intial merger?? We had an ontime airline, things were working. Until the RES nightmare was put in place, hello, things went way sour!! Explains it all. 🙁 I hope there is some relief and upgrades to the new system RES, otherwise we will be in trouble for sometime......

Now there is something we can ALL agree on. If nothing else Kirby needs to go since the res and operational mess all fall into his lap. He is a money guy who quite obviously knows very little about the actual workings of an airline.

Kirby knows nothing about the computer system we have in place, remember, he came from sabre and company!

One would logically think that if he came from SABRE , he would have been able to see what a loser of a system qik/shares is when compared to SABRE. All this proves is the Kirby is a loser too. His (among others) decision to go with qik/shares and sceptor just proves their incompetence in the running of this company. FIX IT before we have no passsengers left. As it is now our VFF base is going to be extinct before too long.
