“No! No! No! YOU ARE ALPA!â€￾ That's what the chiefs always say when the indians complain.

Oh, and could you send us a bigger check next time? Hmm. Please. Pretty please. And remember honeypie, vote for us. â€￾

You neglected to note that the "YOU ARE ALPA!" can often be heard immediately prior to: "Now stop bothering me you pathetic little line pilot..I've got to get to another Closed Meeting to determine your future/dump your pension/etc, otherwise hob-knob with my fellow Wizards, and generally engage in cloistered "processes" that you naturally won't be allowed any vote on".....

I've mentioned it before but I wonder how many ALPO lovers have actually done it....request the budget from ALPO. It's a simple phone call. You will see the incredible extravagance and waste. If you think your dues are well spent, think again.

The typical West pilots that I have met and observed look, act and fly professionally. The last time I was in an East crewroom it looked like the cast of "Hogan's Heroe's".

Um, it is "Hogan's Heroes", there is no possessive nor contraction on the end of Hero that would require an apostrophe.

Do you fly with those who post here as the comment was directed to them? If not, why would you make such a statement?

You forgot one.

"Hey, I am providing for myself by getting Glass to get me a NMB job after I retire."

That's another fine example of alpa-spin technique, seasoned with the standard attempts at fear mongering and wholesale disinformation. If the situation could even possibly unfold as you now claim: WHY then, are you such a devout alpo supporter?...Goat got your tounge? I refer to your famous alpo goat film of course...in which you rather graphically displayed your actual expectations in the event of alpo being dumped, whilst otherwise trumpeting the greater glory of alpa to ridiculous levels...How soon we "forget" it seems 😉

I am only using your logic, when did doug say the list would be used? ah yes he says the list will be used when we under one contract, so again using your logic, if we are one under loa 93, the list is implemented.

No I am just using the argument you guys are making, if you say the TA goes away, then so does the requirement for separate ratification, you forget that management has a list in their hand, and as Doug said, the list will be implemented when we have a single contract, so loa 93 is imposed on the west, the list becomes effective.

".. as Doug said, the list will be implemented when we have a single contract,.." He/management's also told you that Cactus would long ago have been made the universal call sign, and far too mumerous other interesting assertions to bother listing...what's your point? Do you, even for a nano, honestly imagine that management's the least bit concerned with your wishes?....or has some great emotional bond to the Sacred St Nic List?....Puleeaze. Ever since this Nic nightmare started...the only thing that your group's been right about is that Alpo would bless the Nic list..which we also assumed out east, given that those bloated jerkoffs at Herndon can always be counted on to do whatever's easiest, and least threatening, for themselves. Other than that? = Your folks' expressed expectations and assumptions have been proved wrong by events at EVERY turn thus far.

So....in essence; your last argument for keeping Alpo amounts to those rather "interesting" assumptions? Heck..I'm almost missing the goat now 😉

We clearly differ greatly on what's likely in the near future. What's your vision of events should Alpo not be properly discarded?

Why don't you look at section 22 of the East contract and see how seniority is established and find the reference to Nicalou. You will find it is established by DOH, and Nicalou doesn't exist and those would be the terms in force until it is ammended. Be careful what you wish for because you would get DOH and none of the fences and conditions that will come with a USAPA joint contract.

I will put a binding arbitration up against your contract, USAPA by-laws, and practically anything else in a court of law.

You (and others) just keep skipping right past Section 1 in your haste to get to Section 22. That's where one can find the language specifying how integrating lists is to be handled in the case of a merger. You'll undoubtedly find Nic there, or at least the process that led to it.......

You forgot to include their "Disney imagination".

So..as a vocal proponent for Alpo; ...you're saying that you're against the ideals of the late Walt Disney? You're clearly an advocate for a Mickey Mouse operation..but that hardly qualifies you to offer up such a disparagement

With who's money once ALPA is gone?

And, Boeing Boy, nobody is arguing the process; only that there is such a flawed merger policy that a travesty like the Nic award could be the result. If this is what unions are about, folks basically losing 17+ years seniority in a merger of this size, then you can keep 'em.

Question...

If someone decides not to vote, is that a vote for ALPA. Or do they just count the people who voted?
I've seen some elections in the past that still count the people who choose not to vote.
