Well, well, well. . .looks like the AMFA boys were scared this morning. They wouldn't allow the 150 or so willing participants in to their debate. And I thought everyone was welcome??!!

I just hope this shows any of those guys or gals who are "riding the fence", between the TWU and AMFA, that AMFA has once again proven that they are incapable and unworthy of union representation at AA. They preach they are all about the members, we need more cards, but yet they won't defend themselves or face the oppostition so the truth can be told. AMFA has NO credibilty. And to use their own words. . .NO ACCOUNTABILITY!!!!!!!! YOU HAVE FAILED!!!!!!

They wouldn't even let their OWN members in today. A United AMFA member and a Horizon AMFA member were denied entry as well. So tell us, why were they not given the chance, the oppurtunity to confront your almight leader Delle?????? Pitiful and pathetic!!!!!!

Delle was approached today by three TWU supporters prior to the debate. My source who was close to the stage tells me he heard Delle say to them. . .

"I have NO interest in talking with the membership."
WHAT? The same membership that he is trying to recruit? Are you kidding me?????

The TWU came to debate with;

Members from the TWU

Members from Horizon

Members from United

Members from Northwest

Members from the TWU International

Members from the AFL-CIO

Members from The Rank and File

Delle refused to debate any of them. Would not allow over 200 strong to attend.

Amfa turned away more members that those in attendance.

Oh Yes! they even had local organizers attend!!!!

I do have to give them credit, they did allow a few Members to attend, as long as they did not have on TWU items.


Here was a prime oppurtunity two different dates to show us what they were made of and failed both times.

Do you really want an organization who is controlled by the dictator!!!!

Here is a classic: Delle would not even discuss any issues with a Laid off Mechanic from United Airlines! He said I do not have the time and you will need to contact your local. Just so happens the local has been dissolved!!!!

I was there any TWU members that wanted to come in were allowed to come in and some did in fact, the rest were afraid to come in, why I don't know, I really wish that they had come in, to ask the hard questions that really did not get asked,
basically the TWU did a no show as we thought, as I said I really thought that the TWU supporters across the street were going to come in after they got done chanting, but they never did, there was no restrictions on what a member could wear we did not care if they had TWU stuff on or not anymore than we did at the Informational meeting, Delle did refuse to debate with someone from United as the debate is AMFA vs TWU not United, I am sure that he could have come in and asked a question like everyone else thought. 🙂

The bottom line is that while I am disappointed that the TWU supporters were afraid to come inside, those members across the street were hard core TWU supporters and allready had their minds made up, so it really does not matter that they chose not to come in, other than if they had come in they might have asked some good questions that all could have benefited from. :

It appears that there will never be a debate between the two groups, I can live with that, the two sides just can't seem to communicate with each other, maybe it's time to just get on with the vote and see what happens.

CIO who from the International was there ? and who from the afl-cio was there can you give me a name, we did video tape your group and I did not see and International officers but if you give me a name I will look closer at the video for this person.

Also you numbers are off a little again CIO there were about 100 TWU supporters across the street but hey I will say that your estimate on the supporters across the steet from the Brady was alot closer than your estimate for the TWU vs AMFA debate on the 15th everyone has seen the paper and it is clear that there were no more than 200 members at the 4:00 meeting about 800 shy of your estimate.

What is so sad is that there were more TWU supporters there outside wanting to get in than there were AMFA suupporters inside. I saw the clip on the news. Poor showing Raptor.

Why do you think they didn't let us in Raptor? Why didn't you let your own AMFA member in Raptor? Sounds like some scared folks to me.

If you can explain it better I would sure like to hear it. On the other hand, there is NO other explanation. Don't bother.
