Thumbing through the current issue of the US Airways Inflight Magazine...
It turns out that this Tartan Day (April 6th) is also "Wear a Kilt to Work" day. The idea is that employees or customers can solicit pledges from coworkers and customers for Direct Relief International. This Charity undertakes health initiatives in developing countries and after disasters (including the recent Tsunami and Hurricane Katrina.
So the question begs, being as it is US Airways that is promoting this Charity effort in it's own magazine, will US Airways allow US Airways employees to participate.
Now, expecting Doug Parker to come to work in a Kilt might be a stretch (although if he does, I will pledge $$$), but it seems like a reasonable thing for those employees that would like to participate (for a great cause) being as NFL jerseys are a common sight on game weekends (with no charitable effect).
Not to mention there could be some tie in for promotion of our service to Scotland...
