Non Rev

I am planning on flying non-rev on CAL this weekend and wonder if anyone here can tell me the dress code? Are jeans ok? or do you have to wear dress clothes?

I got to non-rev on CO 2 times and both times I wore dress pants and shirt and I got upgraded to FC. I may have gotten lucky, but I know the upgrade thing is out if you are in jeans. Not sure what their policies are now, my experiences were back in the 80s. Just my $.02.............

Dress shirts, collared polo style shirts
Slacks/pants (except jeans).
Dress shoes and socks.
Coats and ties are not required.
Denim attire is unacceptable.
Men Coach
In addition to the items listed for First/BusinessFirst;
Casual collared shirts, sweaters and jeans.
Casual shoes (including athletic and deck shoes) and socks.
Denim attire is acceptable.
Women First / BusinessFirst
Suits, dresses, pantsuits
Skirts or slacks/pants with blouse, sweater or jacket
Dress shoes (including dress sandals). Hosiery not required.
Denim attire is unacceptable.
Women Coach
In addition to items listed for First/BusinessFirst;
Jeans and other denim attire.
Casual shoes (including athletic and deck shoes).
Children (under age 12)
Clothing suitable for travel, including jeans and shorts.

Unacceptable Attire:
Tee shirts, sweatshirts, spaghetti strap tops, tank tops and any attire that reveals midriff.
Mini Skirts, shorts, sweatpants, jogging suits.
Tank top style dresses and Spaghetti strap style dresses.
Form-fitting lycra/spandex tops, pants and dresses.
Beach-type rubber flip flop sandals.

Whats so hard about wearing nice slacks instead of jeans?The other day 2 buddy pass riders were denied first class because they were wearing denim. Tsk Tsk.You never know when you might run into a cranky agent, fa or even pilot. :angry: ]

On Continental, buddy passes are only authorized for coach travel.
