OK you go to U web site buy a tkt lets say PHL-CLT for lets say 220.00

Then go UAL web page buy the same tkt same flights and the tkt is 159.00

Although these numbers are not exact I want you to understand that UAL web page undercuts our fares this is common practice.

Another example although smaller scale ...You buy a BOS-PHL or PHL-BOS
pay the fare for a T Fare U has a 25.00 stby fee ...You buy the same tkt on the UAL web page and guess what no stby fee......

I am lost to the reason for this ...somebody shed some light

This happens both ways. I've bought probably 6-8 first class tickets issued on US stock but for flights operated by UA. US has had some great A-class fares in certain markets, which are good on codeshares too. When I check UA, they are only selling the full F fare in some (but not all) cases.

Purchase two tickets for the same flight, one UA ticket and one US ticket. The UA ticket allows standby for free; the US ticket charges the $25 fee.
