This is with out a doubt the most pathetic group of candidates I have ever seen and the republicans seem to believe the same. If you look at the campaign so far they have jumped on the band wagon of every candidate who has entered the race and Trump who never entered just to avoid Romney who is still the front runner. And they have jumped ship on every single one of them just as fast. It is almost painful to watch.
Have you heard the comments by Romney? Santorum is bad for the adds to promote Dems to vote yet he did the same in 08. Romney drives a Chevy and his wife drives a 'couple' of Cadies. He does not know any NASCAR drivers but he knows a few owners. Romney cannot open his mouth with out stepping in a pile of crap.
Hopefully the Dems keep a majority in the Sen and it seems pretty certain that Obama will get a second term but a lot can change in a few months.

I am saying Nobama nixed the idea because their is an election next year and he can't afford to lose the Liberal, Tree-hugger vote and honestly can't think of one Nobama decision I do agree with !
Now, please give us your excuse as to why Nobama refused the TransCanada permit, other than his energy secretary stating they must find a way to increase oil prices in the US to European levels and needing the votes !

You mean aside from the fact that NE has the right to protect their land? How about the fact that Cornell's study indicated that the numbers being given by TransCA are a bit distorted? How about the fact that the study also suggested that the steel used for the pipeline will more than likely not come from the US? Then there is the fact that it will only help our addiction to fossil fuels. The Pipeline will only be transporting 3% of our daily oil usage and we are doing very little to reduce our dependance on oil.
Had Reagan not eliminated the tax on oil that Cater put in place but maintained a steady increase in the price of oil, we may have very well averted the crisis we are in right now. The idea of increasing the price of fuel over time is something I agree with so long as we are investing heavily in the development of alternative fuels and mass transit. Unfortunately, the oil companies and those making money off of it are doing a very nice job at preventing anything from going forward.
So since you still have not really answered the question let me pose it another way.
If you were president would you grant the pipeline permit?
