What's new

Obuma....Without a Teleprompter.........

It's obvious that you niether read or listened to what he really said.

P.S. Mitt Romney said preety much the same thing.

MItt Sachs and Barack Goldman so what? I found the article offensive. Especially coming from a POTUS that never generated a dime or met a payroll a day in his life. While the Empty Suit has hanging out in College, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates and Mitt Romney were adding REAL value to society. We are the leaders in software and computers not because we have government grants issued by drones like Obama (How do you spell Solyndra again?) We lead because men of vision used to have the opportunity to flourish and were encouraged. Now it's all about redistribution of wealth.

Know why 1% of the population has 99% of the wealth? Ever hear of Fiat Currency and its manipulation which creates commodity inflation and robs the Middle and lower class of hard earned buying power? This happened before the depression as well. The Federal Reserve Money policy then and now crushes the working classes. It's rather amusing in that train wreck kind of way that "Mr Hope & Change" AKA the man of the people has done more to harm the average worker through the monetary policy of the Fed then any sitting POTUS since the creation of the Federal Reserve.

Thanks to Dr Paul we now have a bill to audit the Fed which passed the House 327 to 98 and is on its way to the Senate where Harry Reid who is one record as supporting an Audit has stated they won't be taking the bill up "Anytime soon" so look for Rand to make it an amendment to any and all appropriations bill. Perhaps Dr Paul's greatest acheivement will be getting the Audit of the Fed into the Presidential Race in a big way. It sure would be cool to have a real isue for the two nit wits to debate over.

That previous fix did not hit the spot did it?

I have not heard that quote. Where and when did he say that "entrepeneurs owe all their success to the government."

If you’ve got a business. you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.

If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great [government provided] teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American [government] system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody [government] invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business. you didn’t build that. Somebody else [government] made that happen.

If Barrack had meant bridges, roads, etc. when he said, and I quote, "You didn't bulid that", he would have said , "You didn't build those !" But the problem with his statement is that the small business owner, you know, the guys who grosses just over $250,000 a year and is considered a "Millionaire/Billionaire and who more than likely has employees, insurance and of course TAXES he pays out of that $250,000 a year and who's pockets, Barrack and his theives can't wait to get their hands into, did in fact build that business and also paid his share of taxes to provide those roads and bridges !

So in closing , not only did that small business owner build that company, he more than likely hired employees and btw "PAID TAXES" for those roads and bridges, which in turn created even more jobs !

Move along now Barrack....the truth is out ,no matter how much you try and twist it !

This is what he said with out your FOXnews style editing and embelishments.

We’ve already made a trillion dollars’ worth of cuts. We can make some more cuts in programs that don’t work, and make government work more efficiently…We can make another trillion or trillion-two, and what we then do is ask for the wealthy to pay a little bit more …
There are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me, because they want to give something back. They know they didn’t -look, if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. You didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something – there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there.
If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business. you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.
The point is, is that when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together. There are some things, just like fighting fires, we don’t do on our own. I mean, imagine if everybody had their own fire service. That would be a hard way to organize fighting fires.
So we say to ourselves, ever since the founding of this country, you know what, there are some things we do better together. That’s how we funded the GI Bill. That’s how we created the middle class. That’s how we built the Golden Gate Bridge or the Hoover Dam. That’s how we invented the Internet. That’s how we sent a man to the moon. We rise or fall together as one nation and as one people, and that’s the reason I’m running for president – because I still believe in that idea. You’re not on your own, we’re in this together.”

Fixed again:

If you’ve got a business. you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.

If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great [government provided] teacher somewhere in your life [ That your parents paid taxes to hire]. Somebody [ Paid taxes] to helped to create this unbelievable American [government] system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody [government] invested [ Your tax money] in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business. you didn’t build that. Somebody else [government] made that happen [And we want to tax your even more].

If Warren Buffett is so concerned about himself not paying his "FAIR SHARE", why the hell doesn't he just whip out his checkbook and write :

Pay to the order of: The United States Teasury
Amount : $1 Gazillion dollars

Would Barrack not accept this check ?

The word "those" or "that" is not the issue. The issue is people like you selectively editing his comments either out of laziness or being deliberately deceitful. To quote you “Without his trusty sidekick, Teleprompt, the truth comes out! The small business owner did "NOT" build his company and owes all his success to the government!" What gets me is that if you had read the very link you posted you would have figured out what he was really saying.
Now I have grown to expect this from you. What gets me is when a supposedly "fair and balanced" news organization repeats the same lie.

So what are you going to fix your very own thread starter instead of trying to spin this?

Mitt has said the same thing for the most part.

You forgot this part. The point is, is that when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together.

That part does not fit into the right wing spin machine too well.
