What's new

Obuma....Without a Teleprompter.........

He did not actually say that. Talk radio and Fox News said that he did.

It was implied IMO, It was NOT directly stated by Barack Obama. His speech sucked. If you want to hear a far more lucid and impashioned expression of the point of view the Empty Suit was trying to articulate US Semate Candidate Elizabeth Warren(MA) does a much better job.

Ms Warren did a far better and less offensive articulation and frankly raises some worthy debate points as to what extent does the US have a "Social Contract" with it's citizens and how does it or should it extend? When you watch the you tube clip of Ms Warren her remarks seem as if they were delivered from the heart and not a teleprompter and perhaps that's why the furor? People know in their hearts they elected an Empty Suit in Barack Obama. Whether you support Ms Warren or Scott Brown at least you know that Ms Warren has some principles left unlike the current occupant of the White House.

Oh so it's implied now? Was Mitt Romney implying it when he said essentially the same thing?

Not interested in what Magic Underwear Boy has to say. To me at least the implication was pretty strong and anti business. I get his point and perhaps why I dislike it so much is even in sports I prefer individual sports like Boxing over team sports. People always say "There is no "I" in "Team" to which I rely, "True but there is a me"

It's obvious that you niether read or listened to what he really said.

P.S. Mitt Romney said preety much the same thing.

On economic policy, Obama just said that "“we tried our plan, and it worked.” What economic plan of Obama's has worked so well?

Just curious.

Your F.O.S. 777 ! Again, point out where Mitt said "ESSENTIALLY" the same thing, because the only place I've heard it from is you !

Paying attention (and your debt to Kev) are not your strong suit. Stick to name calling and misspelling to make your point.

Warren is fantastic.

Maybe (likely, even), though I wouldn't discount the propensity of people to just sh*t on whatever Obama says, just 'cause it's vogue to do so...

Ha!

That takes a lot of nerve considering your thread starter was based on something he did not actually say. If you had read the very link you posted it would have been obvious. Except you got your marching orders from talk radio and did not stop to think. What's even funnier you won't acknowledge that your original post was wrong.
Tell you what; I'll post the link for the second time where Romney says something that is not much different from what the President said.

At about the 9:20 mark.

There's not much difference between what Obama said and what Romney said when using out-of-context, 2 second soundbites provided on a comedy show. If you get a chance, watch the entire Obama speech then compare it with Romney's speech.

In reality, there's a big difference in there ideology.

And who got the original story right, the subject of the thread starter? The "comedy" show or Fox?

Why do you care? I don't need you, the thread starter, a comedy show or Fox to tell me what Obama said. Romney's not trying to clarify his statements, Obama is.
