I seriously don't think anything is a real alternative to MSNBC except maybe Colbert.

Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business. you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.

It wasn't said it was implied in one of his stump speechs and "Taken out of context" so he claims. I've read the text and listened to the audio..
