Don't know where your getting your stats. Probably from the Sandcastle. Do you have any idea how many flights have been cancelled in Phl. Guess again, TOO MANY, the best is yet to come.

Do you know where a 64% arrival rate and a 98% completion rate gets you ranked?

Why call in sick if you aren't. There is too much satisfaction in doing a great job at what they have taught you. 😀

Point is on May 8th USA cancelled only 18 flights.

So much for being the "tough guy."
 
Mostly MX. From what I see day to day it goes about like this.

MX 60%
WX 30%
OPS 5%
CREW 5%
 
Thanks, any insight as to why the MTC is such a high percentage?

That is the magic question most of us in the maintenance department on the east are asking.....Why is a successful department being forced to adopt the policies and procedures of a much smaller and more questionable one of the West?
 
MX is usually due to long term issues that takes a spare out of the operation for 36 hours or more, then you have another go out for the afternoon and something has to go.
Crew is usually no shows/sick calls and by the time you do the call out, no use trying to run the flight that late.
 
Unless somethig changes I believe ALPA will be decertified on both the East and West properties. Then the West pilots will face union imposition.

Oh Puh-lease!

I suggest no one believe this guy. He is wrong so often with his predictions, I can't even begin to remember the number of times. As 99% of the people reading this board well know, the more USA320 fears an outcome, the more he will regurgitate his spin, over, and over, and over, and over in a hope that his spin will become the truth.

In fact, his constant predictions backed up with no factual information pretty much guarantees that it will NOT happen.
