Your coworkers voted it in.

Give it a break. Remember when we proudly told the company NO in the first bankruptcy. I've never been prouder of my coworkers. :up: Then the iam lied for 1 week saying the company is making us revote. Then the iam admited they agreed to revote the exact same contract their members voted down. :down: The iam and the company then went on a 2 week scare campaign to get it to pass the 2nd time. And all you ever say is it got voted in. You disgust most of us. 😛 The iam is a corrupt group. You are blinded by your appointed position and newly acquired pension for your years of bootlicking!! 🙁

Sorry sweetie. For 1, I'm in clt and 2 it was the union reps scareing utility folks into votring yes to save their jobs. And look what they got. Your blind if you think their was more than a couple of people crying for a revote.

The same was occuring in CLT and there was no scaring of Utility.

I was against the 2nd vote and redone, your group voted it on the first try each time.

700, my first vote was for "Steelworkers". My next vote was on the first contract persented by IAM/U. It and all the following votes from me were "no' votes. IAM has never represented me (I worked in a small station...which got the 'outsource notice' last week)...they have only taken my dues. Now, it is my plan to take from IAM my $100 or so monthly pension. "Thanks be to the IAM for all they have done!" 😛h34r:

Actualy the iam PAYOFF terms got bigger. :down: :angry:

Don't think so, the money was for the financial and legal experts, lost time and hotel expenses.

But the IAM can refuse any money for those expenses and just access the membership and have you pay for it.

And ALPA, AFA, CWA and TWU was also reimbursed for the very same expenses.

Amazing how people have to post untruths.

Dude,

I have no doubt some of the membership demonstrated buyer's remorse. But;

1. Even if a thousand had called in, that still would not represent a majority, and

2. The leadership had a bona fide vote on record. No bylaw I know of required a revote.

There is spinelessness to go around.
