I'd be willing to Wager, that Paid Sick days, were brought to the American worker..Via..the US Labor Movement, but as Union Membership Declines in this OUTSOURCED country, it begs the question.....Whats NEXT, that the American worker will let SIT IDLY BY, and let Corperate America..ROB them of ???

Maybe some are waking up to the fact that if they blindly resist, they may lose more than just a couple sick days. Resistance is fine and dandy; doing so without considering the ramifications is often detrimental to the very institution they vow to protect.

Does Hoffa truly care about his members?

Performance Transportation Services Inc.'s president said Friday that the car hauler and its related companies were ceasing operations, five days after 1,250 Teamster-member employees went on strike.

The hay-day of unions in long gone. They have turned into exactly what they were fighting back in the day. They have become a large corporation that is interested in revenue. The more money, the better. I am sure there are a few unions that actually are concerned for the well being of the employees as well as the company that they work for, but my guess is that those are few and far between. When you se the news, Unions are shown in the same bad light as management. They are different side of the same plug nickel.
