PHL clerks call Police

Well for reasons known only to the clerks they felt threatened in some way shape matter or form.

Why is this "secret"? Why do we allow the "unstated fear" to guide our thinking in this? I want evidence, not terrorism.

Because they start lining up 2 hours before checks are handed out they get antsy.
Some pushng, some shoving, people cutting in line, it lead to a near riot.
Management has NO control over the new hires...they leave it up to the cops to do that now.

I remember once back in 2000 or 2001 in STL when TWA management screwed-up something on the paychecks and said they'd make it up right away. Some IAM guys reacted by igniting trash cans in the terminal, requiring the FBI to investigate.

Aren't new hires subject to a probationary period? If this is true, I would not want any of these people working a weed wacker, much less any equipment next to our jets.

FACT!!!
The sand castle brought in 39 managers from other cities under the threat that they would clean house.
THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING!!!
New hires "on Probation" no show for multiple flights during their shift but are just "talked to" about it(please do your job)....not shown the door.
The PHL trainning dept.(ramp volunteers) show more new hires to the curb then PHL management.
If PHL operational numbers have improved it's because of this example:
On Thursday they had 40 agents for 15 gates on B-can during the am shift and .......drum roll please.......97 agents for the pm shift!!!!!
Yes 97!
They are still lucky to get 4 to show up for a flight!
