Just curious ,

Did phx and Las have their greivance committee elections and what was the outcome..

did Mr Canales mouthpiece Mr Roth win the election or was a change made.
 
When are they ???

and per the bylaws they have to post the time and place for the elections.
 
Per Federal law they have to represent their members. They're not, so why follow their own by laws?

ORIOLEMAN I spoke to a few of their guys and was told they were not aloud to perticipate in their elections. They were told that their dues were being held and so they could not hold offices. This in a station that they out number the old USAirways employees 10 to 1. They have a person in PHX who really cares but she was constantly beat down. This person worked for the group not the union. I hope these Cities can get real help from the rest of the system! The good thing is that you are questioning it in this forum. Hope we all have a better year than the last!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
it's funny .. they let the westies vote for a b/s t/a but WON'T let them participate in local elections.

I don't see how they can have it both ways. I thought they were members of the IAM . Guess that only comes in to play

when they (Canale and company) want to shove some s_ _ t down our throats.
 
The best thing they could do to make the IAM recognize them is to hold up their meetings. Everytime they have their monthly meetings. They should go and just pound them on how they are being screwed and not being aloud to be apart of the leadership in their local.
 
Hi as a PHX person , I can tell you that a lot of people down here are just fed up with the union and the company …. But I think you’ll see our station come back strong after this COC mess gets straightened out .

hey brother, I've been in touch with many in LAS and to be honest I don't think Canale has one follower there. Things are being 'squared up' in LAS and PHX and I can assure you that nobody likes Canale. Things will start manifesting themself in February but alot of hard work still remains. In any case, CLT will be counted on to kick Boss Canale back to the United Board of Directors where he belongs.

Oroileman , as far as union politics go I’m not really involved , but what I CAN say is I stand behind our man Ron Roth . Look you want a first hand report of what’s going on here in PHX , to put it bluntly we’re grinding our Ax’s … we’ve had more than enough time to sit here and stew , believe me ,when the time comes we will be ready … will you all ?

Myself and others have been working the phones across the US AIRWAYS system trying to bring everyone together for this common cause to make this a better district by eliminating the deadweight of Boss Canale and his management appeasing cronies who have continuously sold out US EAST and are pissing all over US West. I havent been posting as much on here because I have been tied up trying to bring stations together. We have been successful in tying together PIT, CLT, PHL, BOS, DCA, LAS and a ton of smaller stations. Still got to work on bringing together certain camps within each of these stations but our network is solidly encamped with the vast majority of support in each of these locals. At any rate, to increase the chance of success, more work needs to be done to make sure US AIRWAYS workers aren't 80% solid, but close to 100% solid. This means personal differences must be put aside. To this end, we have been successful.

PHX needs work on participation and there are several solid union people in PHX that we have been in contact with that will support an opposing ticket against Boss Canale and his traveling 'piss clam band'. PHX is getting 'hosed' and feeling 'pain' with no end in sight since Mr. R fully backs Canale's section 6 bargaining refusal. We pointed out Mr R's untruths on this forum with his own pen, and some still follow him blindly.
Like I said, we still need to do more work to bring in all the different camps from each city but I think brothers like Freedom, and sisters like Lith will join in with the wave of support to get rid of the current Management Appeasing Union Bosses. Once we 'plunge out' the undesirables, this district won't be operating in company beds or under company desks.

Unfortunately, my understanding is that Mr R has put his personal agenda ahead of those he represents, and has offered his "full backing" of the current regime that is whoring his own in return for his 'promised' position of Vice President on Boss Canale's Company ticket. Other than Mr R, who I have been notified is one of Canale's chosen 22, I find nobody who supports Canale.
