Unfortunately, my understanding is that Mr R has put his personal agenda ahead of those he represents, and has offered his "full backing" of the current regime that is whoring his own in return for his 'promised' position of Vice President on Boss Canale's Company ticket. Other than Mr R, who I have been notified is one of Canale's chosen 22, I find nobody who supports Canale.

Ron roth has challenged to debate anybody on the issues, and has recognized the fact that he has been repeatedly attacked on these forums. I say, those of you on here that know Roth need to get him in here to debate Tim, find common ground with him, and get us a voice here in PHX.

I don't think he will show though. He is up for a VP position, so I'm sure he will stay loyal to the IAM. Tim and the East share an agenda to oust the IAM because of... You both try to discredit eachoter, why not fix this and get some unity between us.

One thing he has repeatedly said about Parker is that he is a schmuck. Maybe this is a start.

you know when Ron says debate , I think he means face to face in public or over the phone , I don’t personally think he would rush to do this internet thing , I don’t speak for him so who knows … Althou it would be entertaining to read .

As for supporting him coming back to bite me , I HIGHLY doubt that would ever happen ….

Yes Tim I would definitely put aside any personal issues I have for the betterment of the group . Like i said thou , i'm really not involved in union Politics , who will replace canale ?also would replacing him negate Ron Roth getting a VP postion ?

Nobody is at work trying to oust the IAM. Our focus is simple. Since we are stuck with the IAM, we must change its leadership so it can start serving the members instead of management. I think it's going to work this time but tons of hard work and egos need to be worked out to pull this off.

You may have a VP out of PHX on an opposing ticket where you can choose but in any case, if you vote for Roth, you will still be able to vote against Canale and the rest of his cronies. In other words, if you support Roth and vote for him then I'd like to think you would also vote against Canale and even the US EAST guys who are whoring you guys out right now.


And another thing, East siders are pissed that you guys aren't in section 6 because east siders do not trust the company's word that it wants a transition. If West siders are already in section6 then it will strengthen the east side also when they go into section 6 talks. The alternative is for you guys to keep stalling and waiting until the east contract is ammendable, that would suck for all workers. Remember, once you get released, east siders, by contract, can honor your picket line.

ok, lets get everyone back on topic LAS elections arent until nov of 08 and trust me there will be lots of change. Labor dawg as u stated earlier in 06 we were prohibited from running in the elections and some words were exchanged during the meeting, but what is done is now done. LAS will be in huge support for change in FEB. we a are sick of the stagnant progress and the outstations are already getting fed up with Nate Gushi.

Here's how I personally see it based on what I have heard out west. LAS is solid for change. Actually PHX is shaping up but needs an incredible amount of work. The main problem is getting them to listen to why they are getting screwed over so bad. Only one guy from US WEST has sold out for a coveted spot on Boss Canale's ticket and NOBODY from LAS took the bait since they know what is going on.

Unfortunately, the US EAST AGC's are calling all shots for the US WEST dues payers as Boss Canale has decided that the US WEST workers are not entitled to getting any representation from their own. Classic, taxation with no representation. Canale has told the west that you need to be two year members to qualify for an AGC spot but that is a lie that Mr R is wanting everyone to believe. Yes, the bylaws say two years but it also sez Canale has sole authority. Canale can make assignments. Tell the truth Mr R and stop putting the VP position ahead of workers. It's been common for DL141 to appoint AGC's with folks who have less than 2 years dues paying. You folks don't have to listen to Mr R or me, Go ask Chandlee how much time he had in before Boss Canale appointed him AGC...I think it was 1 month. Bottom line, US WEST won't be getting squat as long as you have west side leaders who support US EAST siders calling the shots for you, and "The Canale Plan" to shelve section 6 neogiations. If PHX wants to believe the smoke blown up its butt then they will continue to experience 'great pain'. It's nuts that you guys have been in 'full blown' section 6 position for two years and you continue to allow US EAST AGC"s to dictate and tell you to just sit back and wait on 'US EAST Developments". One question, why not do section 6?

Anyways, what's really going on is that DL141 doesn't want any part of section 6 negotiations for the dues paying US WEST workers, and to secure this position, Boss Canale, decided to make sure a lid is kept on it by appointing a new US EAST AGC from LAX to watch over the west and continue telling the west that it is all about the arbitration and the east. In the meantime, bottom line, the US WEST is going to continue to experience great 'pain'. One westie won't though as he secured himself with a coveted VP position on Boss Canale's ticket. Ask yourself, how did he do this? How does anyone get on Boss Canale's ticket? Trust me, he's a Canale 'team' player...bottom line.

Tim Nelson, glad to see you back on the boards fighting the fight! For once guys, listen to him. True dedication to try and right whatever you can these days. Canale is a loser and it is up to you to kick him to the curb.

The company wants Canale in the seat so.....it is your jobs to get him out!
