Problem In Alabama ?

Well at least they did not cover it up!!!!! May make a nice employee diner after all, or perhaps affordable housing for some worker's? 😛

{} {} {} these are applause.  Oh gosh, I hope passengers never ask why flight numbers are changed so often?  I'm not sure that they would understand, that changing flight nbrs is done probably to divert the fed avi admn so that they cannot track and report on the stats of that flight.  New flight numbers, new take-off times (by just a few minutes), no history, no data (throws the fed avi admn off so much that it will be years before they ever figure it out.  So why does my 9am flt number change every month?  The flight is never on time.  No stats, no data, no problem.

This is exactly right. The company changes flight numbers of the flights that are consistantly late. That way it does not show up on any CRT anywhere in the world with the performance stats. It only shows as a new flight that has no stats. We have flights that operate into our station less than 10% on time and the flight numbers change every 90days. One flight has arrived ontime here twice in 2months. It's due for a number change next month. The ontime stats were designed to assist travel agents and customers in determining their chances of an ontime arrival, but when flights get below the 50% level, the airlines simply change the flight number and start it over as a "new" flight that is "too new to rate".

700, check your facts...you are not posting the truth...
a 13 day S check on the 330? Engineers from Airbus flown in?

you're reaching...don't spread rumors.

It is not rumors, go check the plane was suppose to be there for only 13 days it was there over a month, and my source was the FAA and the flight safety committee.

You better go check YOU'RE facts.

I have no facts to post concerning this... sounds like you dont either

From what I heard...

They can't find anyone to fix the Envoy Seats..The had to call back to CLT and request help from our seat shop.

Its taking twice as long to fix everything on that A/C...!!

Scheduled for 13 days? That sounds like a 320 s check, how long for a 330 s check?

A330-300 S-Check 23 Days as scheduled...However ST Mobile Aerospace has shot that all to hell excluding the initial damage that took place to 674 in SJU , then the added time it sat in CLT awaiting U Management to decide what direction to send it in for repairs? That is just wasted time..and does not count toward how far this aircrafts return is over-due from BFM itself. The issue is one of our largest airplanes being made un-available far longer than it should have been....but employee salaries in the 30 to 50k range is what's killing this company? WRONG !

Facts are...They damaged the airplane further while attempting to wiegh it...and a number of other ill prepared issues have continued to drive the return to service further behind. 700UW knows what he speaks regarding the safety committee too..fliboi doesn't know his butt from a hole in the ground once again.

674 will likely leave BFM today....but it will do so with a number of items from the next inbound S-Check that has already arrived there. That would be Acft 671 for those of you seeking facts but not willing to aknowledge truths. Right usfliboi ?

Bottom line on making ETR's ..do the work right..do it by the book and have the resources where the work is being performed , without all the criteria met ? A cheaper deal becomes an expensive deal...but the issue was driving people away from USAirways , not getting the same quality cheaper.

Nice job , mission accomplished on getting rid of people...now the money can trickle away on all the the problems associated with third party work itself and over-extended lines of logistical support between the company , the vendors and BFM itself.

Those outside of the Maintenance circles do not know what we "in the circle do"...we know how long it takes to do a given job...and we also know what its like waiting for the resources to arrive to perform the job. Adding Mobile into the mix has just made things far more protracted , when a thurough streamlining of the system was what was in order to save real money in very simplistic terms for those whom can't grasp or except the errors in what's taking place here.

Sadly again , it was all about getting shed of as many U Employee's as possible...the money will just slip away in another direction , namely into Bronners state of Alabama for a prime example

. The end result on the balance sheet will still have Lakefield or the next flavor of the week asking for more before U comes out of Chapter 11 this time. Bank on it !!

So Fixer, you would have to say.....AGAIN POOR MANAGEMENT ! ! ! ! But it is the empolyees fault, right?

Sweet Home Alabama,

Where the Skies are Blue.

Sweet Home Alabama,

Where Third party maint.

is Pathetic, We know that

it's True......

So how did the help from Toulouse like Alabammy?

And did they need two interpreters, one to translate Alabammy to English, and another for English into French?

Maint. types check into this RUMOR
I heard in clt last night that the weighing incident dropped the A330, and the A/C was now a total write off due to severe structure damage, again this is rumor. Does anyone know about this???

I believe it did structural damage, but was repaired it was A/C 674, I believe it is back flying.

You people need to stop all this speculation. If the aircraft was damaged then there would be repair paper work in the package of work accomplished that is returned to U. Have someone access that work package and verify a repair in the area of the jack pads. PIT MOC widebody has no knowledge of this so called damage. This aircraft was not damaged from falling off the jacks. If it was somebody prove it.
