Problem In Alabama ?

You people need to stop all this speculation. If the aircraft was damaged then there would be repair paper work in the package of work accomplished that is returned to U. Have someone access that work package and verify a repair in the area of the jack pads. PIT MOC widebody has no knowledge of this so called damage. This aircraft was not damaged from falling off the jacks. If it was somebody prove it.

It did not fall off the jack, the jack valve was not turned in the proper position and the jack bled down which caused a twist in the airframe.

If if did not happen then why did Airbus Engineers from Toulouse have to evaulate the airframe?

If it did not happen then why was the FAA notified?

If it did not happen then why was the IAM Flight Safety Committee notified?

And if you say it did not happen then you prove it!

And if MAE did such a great job why did the plane not make its ETR and why did you return to PHL with the work not completed and why were all the seats not done?

Then why did U accept this aircraft back into service? I say U is at fault not the contractor. What say u 700?

Kinda curious how do you prove something didn't happen? A letter from home?

call bill clinton

One more thing, IT DID NOT FALL OFF THE JACK, as you stated. Did the jack malfunction or was it operator error?

It should be rather easy for someone who has access to Merlin to see the history on this aircraft. I am sure any damage to the airframe would have a repetitive inspection involved. If MOC has no knowledge of it, that is pretty much the final word.

first it seems to bleed down:
1.fill valve not properly shutoff
2.jackscrew lock ring not spun down for a backup
3. 2 cases of mechanic error/not following procedures...probaly non certified mechanic.(possible jackoff??)

Is that hearsay. Would that hold up as proof in the court of Usaviation?

By the way with 320 and pineybob gone wonder how board would be without me and 700 contributing our garbage?

US did not do the work, MAE did so if anything went wrong it is MAE's fault. The plane ferried back to PHL without the S-Check being completed, US Airways own mechanics and PHL had to complete the S-Check work package, not MAE's because MAE could not do the work tasked to them.

And You did not answer any of the questions poised to you:

Why did US Fly in Engineers from Airbus in Toulouse to evaluate the airframe if it did not happen?

Why was the FAA notified if it did not happen?

Why was the IAM Flight Safety Committee notified if it did not happen?

And if MAE did such a great job why did the plane not make its ETR and why did you return to PHL with the work not completed and why were all the seats not done?

Funny how you try to avoid answering and deflecting the things poised to you.

You want more info on what MAE is up to????

Go read the thread on "Quality Maintenance."

Sounds like MAE got their jacking skills in PHL. I seem to recall two instances with in a year of each other where MD-80's sustained major damage while being jacked by USAirs own mechanics. Even under these circumstances, I'm still no fan of USAir chasing the lowest wages. Where are their loyalties to the workers who helped them survive this long?

Funny thing...you're the only one who has claimed that these things happened. Care to show us the evidence, or are we just supposed to take your word for it?
