Problem In Alabama ?

I have no reason to lie, there are people in the know who can attest to what transpired.

If if did not happen then why did Airbus Engineers from Toulouse have to evaulate the airframe?

I believe engineers were called due to the damage of the cargo door that occurred in SJU.

If it did not happen then why was the FAA notified?

Your the only one that claims this, so if they were notified, where can this be verfied, documented, etc.....

If it did not happen then why was the IAM Flight Safety Committee notified?

My dog can call flight safety.......check the phone log, it's the one that says Bark Bark after they answered....

And if MAE did such a great job why did the plane not make its ETR and why did you return to PHL with the work not completed and why were all the seats not done?

So then you have proof that the ETR was bumped due specifically to the a/c jacking mishap?

So now what this thread is saying is that MAE are not capable of completing the work that was tasked to them? Sound like U is at fault again if this is the true scenerio. (Of course, we have no facts, just heresay......)

The engineers were called in after the Jack incident, not when the airplane was first ferried to MAE for repairs and the S-check and if you looked in DECS you will see how many bumps the ETR had after the incident happened.

How is US at fault when ST MAE is the one working the plane?

Why did the S-Check not make ETR?

Why was the S-Check not completed at MAE and had to be finished in PHL?

Why were the seats not overhauled?

Seems you keep dodging the real issues at hand.

Planes fail to make ETR during checks all time, rather in house or by an outside party.

The question is just what happened. Was this aircraft actually damaged due to a jacking issue. The issue lies somewhere within Merlin and the aircraft history. As I said earlier, any repair for something that serious would probably have a repetitive inspection due somewhere along the future life of the aircraft.

I would imagine MOC would be the ones to truly know. If they don't know anything about it, it's pretty fishy.

Sure you do...that's why I asked.

No I don't I am not an AMT. Actually this is the first A330 not to make its ETR at MAE and they did not even complete the S-check.

You don't have to be; you still have plenty of incentive. I'm not going to argue this with you further...you either don't have the evidence, or you fabricated the whole thing. I don't have a stake either way...I was just hoping to find out the truth.

I did not start the thread nor did I fabricate it, there are plenty of posters who have backed me up on this thread and another.

The plane was damaged plain and simple, if you think I am lying then disprove me.

Go ask the Mechanics in PHL, go ask the FAA or the IAM Flight Safety Committee. Even Management has admitted that there was an incident with the plane in MAE.

I wonder if Al Franken's book......"Lies and the Lying Liars that tell them" makes any mention of UAIR management   ???
