Could we get together and picket US at the airport? The change in config's, the FF changes. They can fire us since we are not employees of US!

Hopefully by doing that may get some media coverage and put Tempe in a "Reality CHeck". I am just throwing out an idea.

You would probably have to apply for a license of some sort or permit. As flight crew we have to and it's even limited to a certain amount of picketers at certain airports as well. Boston you can't picket AT ALL. Other places you have to picket in designated areas and NOT in front of entrances or by them.

If you want to see how it was done and done correctly go to SaveSkyMiles

There is a school of thought and a body of evidence to support the notion that between the Elite Flyers unrest and the bonuses Mullins tried to take led to his ouster and Grinsteins return.

Take a look at the rolling billboard photos as they picketed the annual meeting.
So that is why he wanted to buy Delta?

Now he's doing it on his own, going solo. DoUgIe Porker will never ever understand, he is an IDIOT!

I thought so.

Nothing can be done if someone would have a tee shirt on that is traveling, just as long as the message is not threatening or vulgar.

I have another question, Say you are booked on a flight that departs at 7pm. What is the earliest that a person can go thru security?

After a flight I had in January back from Chicago, my friend that I was to meet and drive home was coming in from Miami 4 hours after my flight. I stayed inside of security in PHL and was able to use the resteraunts and able to walk around abit till his flight came in. No one chased me or even questioned me.

THANK YOU!!!!

That's why you do it at the Annual Meeting. Now then how cool would it be to have representatives from all of the unions and the Frequest flyers picketing the Shareholers meeting.

I'm in! C'mom AFA, IAM, CWA & ALPA time to go "Down on the Picket Line"

Down on The Picket Line- Was a coal mining song sung to the tune of "Down in the Valley to Pray" it was written by Sarah Ogan Gunning a noted organizer in the coalfileds.I did my best to re write it for all of us.

Come on, friends, an' let's go down,
Let's go down, let's go down,
Come on, friends, an' let's go down,
Down on the picket line.

As we went down on the picket line
To tell Doug to treat our customers right,
Who's goin' to win the fight,
Come on an' we'll show you the way.

We went out to ask them to treat us right,
An' I was sure we'd have a fight,
But Management cowardly ran away,
We went back the very next day.

Come on, friends, an' let's go down,
Let's go down, let's go down,
Come on, friends, an' let's go down,
Down on the picket line.

As we went down on the picket line
To keep Doug's Thugs from getting out of line,
Who's goin' to win the fight,
Come on an' we'll show you the way.

We all went down to that fine hotel
To meet the Stockholders and give 'em Hell.
We went there to be heard, I'm glad to say,
Come on an' we'll show you the way

I'm Sorry!! But I Don't Recall Any FF's Out There Picketing With Us A Few Years Ago When We Were Trying To Get A Contract!! And You Want Us To Picket Because An Airline Actually Changes The Configuration Of Their Airplanes To Try To Make Money? NEVER!! Get A Life Man!!

Cramming passengers in a A321 for 6 Hours from PHL-SFO and having the plane make a fuel stop along the way. Even Southwest does not cram that tight with the seating. They say that if weight becomes an issue, the limit the amount of passengers that can board. GEE That is intelligent planning. Who boards and who's left behind? That is just Great Customer Service. US Airways is becoming the 21st Century Eastern Airlines, soon to be defunct if they keep their attitude the way it is.

Cry Me A Friggin River Man!! Like I Said, Where Were You When We Were Picketing For A Decent Contract A Few Years Ago? Did Not See You Supporting Us!!!

IBT Local 926 at PIT got some support from FF's when we did our informational handout this past autumn. It was nice to hear that they agreed with what we were doing.

We couldn't expect them to stand there with us, however. A lot of them were on their way someplace. 🙂

Piney, this westie is ready to picket with you!!!! Name the time and place I will get there. The general chant coming from west FA's is "ready to walk, ready to walk, ready to walk!" We have had it!
