Ideas? I have one. Perhaps it is people who do not believe empty slogans any longer. Perhaps it is people who understand that labor has given up a HUGE, life changing sacrifices to help AA survive but has not seen the same "Shared Sacrifice" from management.
Don't give me the tattered old reply of, "We have to compensate our management team so they don't go to another airline." ALL airlines were losing money. So what is the difference if airlines "swapped" managament people?
I have no problem with management making huge bonuses but NOT at my expense. Because in the realm of reality it simply is not fair.

It just about the sick out the pilots are planning on doing. Not sure what the big secret is.
My name is on there, as well as most of my friends.
Garfield, you are right there is going to be a sickout. LGA pilots have more balls than most bases (mia a close 2nd), so be prepared, and TDY your kissass DFW guys over there! (not that they all are, but I would venture a higher percentage thsn most bases).

Last time the Pilots were involved in a so-called sick-out, there was hefty court issued fine, that later had to be negotiated down.
I would find it hard to imagine a similar tactic playing out.

Serious question. Has there been comments or suggestions from any of your Supervisors or MOD's that they believe a pilot sickout is planned?....or did you make this up yourself?

I think that is his opinion. I think it is a general opinion of some. I have not heard anything from any of our managers about a sick out. If it is I think AA Stew might have given aa management a reason to have some concern. He or she just admitted what he or she thinks is a sickout from her so called pilot friends. If they wanted to keep it secret and not in any public forum they were doing a good job until AASTEW opened his or her stupid mouth. (Maybe that is what Garfield wanted to pull out of someone).
In the end the VP's will still get their bonuses. Who gets screwed when there is a sick out? Be honest. Not the managers.... Just the average every day people like you and me. Including passengers.
Ask a pilot if the Reno sick out was successful. I doubt any of them will say it was.
There has to be a better way of getting your point across. Ask major news networks to talk about it. Ask that guy from CNN that talks about protecting the working class to do a segment on it. But sick outs to me are not worth it and will not change one thing.
