Seems Tempe is removing ENVOY seats with MORE AND MORE PREFERRED MEMBERS does this not sound UNFAIR. BA just announced they are moving to TERMINAL 5 at LHR and to finance the construction they are INCREASING BUSINESS CLASS SEATS from 38 to 52, So they are increasing BUSINESS CLASS SEATS and USAIRWAYS is removing them GO FIGURE ! But the big take-away from the conference -- and important information for you, the consumer -- is that the economics of these programs are changing. At a time of dwindling ticket revenues, the FFPs have become a profitable source of income for airlines. In fact, airline executives have come to realize that these programs are now generating big bucks for their coffers. As a result, the longstanding rift between the airlines' cost-centric finance departments and their consumer-sided marketing departments is easing, and program directors are gaining the ability to better serve the customer.

This means you can rest assured that your loyalty programs are here to stay and that the airlines will do more to keep your business.

ONLY STATING OPINIONS.

everyone but US. it is funny. I went to a sheraton last night with no reservation. the front desk clerk said he had to check if rooms were available since I didn't have a reservation. he came back and quoted a $295 per night rate. I said ok and handed him my cards and I'd. he said, oh, you are platinum...i can charge you $209 per night. that builds customer loyalty. US instead takes every opportunity to shove it up the customer's butt.

The only airline that comes close to our seating on the A330 is NWA however the product offered in J class is better than ours. Here is the link to NWA seat
