resignations for council

   HOW DARE YOU CHALLANGE THE ALMIGHTY CAROL!
It would be near impossible....she needs to be humbled thats for sure

A voting member of the MEC would have to bring forward at the Winter 2007 MEC meeting and "end date" to the transition neg. committee, and start over. Currently, the members are Carol A. and Mike F. who is the current MECP. Who ever the MECP is sits on the negotiating committee. In order to get rid of Mike F. on the neg. committee, he would have to be recalled from the MECP seat.

Carol also can be recalled from the neg. committee and a replacement would have to be E-lined out for candidates, nominations and the elected by the voting members of the MEC.

There is no expiration for the negotiating committee unless the MEC brings it forward at an MEC meeting. There is only the process of recall or resignation.

What about Carol Austin?? How do we get rid of her??????

She is pretty smart, way smarter than Jerry Glass.

Unfortunately, she cleves to the correct idea that, as a negotiating person, she represents the MEC. If the MEC acts stupid, then she can only do what she can under the rules, which, is to represent a "stupid" MEC. The same could be said about any MEC officer. If the governing body acts a in stupid, insipid and ridiculous manner, what would one do as a "representative" of such idiocy?

Perhaps, recall the present MEC and elect a sane MEC?

We saw it happen with ALPA. Why cannot the FAs see the same stuff happening?
