The drive to have all 50 States introduce and pass a resolution like the one California passed in 2002 that recognizes May 24th of every year as Aviation Maintenance Technician Day in honor of Charels E. Taylor is moving along. The following States need a point of contact. The Aircraft Maintenance Technicians Association, AMTA, www.amtausa.com, has written to the following elected officials of these States asking them to introduce similar resolutions.

If you wish to write to these officials please do. These resolutions are to recognize our great profession that Charles E. Taylor started over 100 years ago. If you know anyone in these States ask them to write too! Thank you. Ken MacTiernan Director AMTA
