Say Goodbye to Powdered Creamer?

I was told today that powdered creamer would no longer be served in FC, only Y. They apparently received many complaints and have decided to rethink this most recent "enhancement".

Is Sherri wrong (again)...do customers really prefer Mini Moos over powdered creamer? Do they really feel that Tempe is devaluing the FC product with their "enhancements"? Is Tempe listening? Are they going to stop making stupid decisions only to recall them once they look like fools?

Can anyone confirm this?
 
Somebody was, looks like it, yes, only if you yell since they're hard of hearing, don't count on it, not me.

Maybe the Chick-Fil-A cows showed up in Tempe with signs saying "No Powdrd Cow" instead of "Eat Mor Chikin"??? :lol:
 
So coach is not worthy of mini-moos. :angry: If you are going to have cattle car service you might as well serve mini-moos!
 
So offering TWO different kinds is cost effective? MORONS. This is exactly the kind of SH!T people are talking about. Brilliant....simply BRILLIANT! ! ! ! That should keep us in the black. Good lord. 🙄
 
On west we serve mini moos in first and powdered in coach. I usually take a few extras from first and give to the folks in the back unless we have A LOT of coffee drinkers, which is seldom in the Southwest!
 
Why is this airline so embarrassing? I wish whatever desert dwelling idiot makes these decisions could come on a trip with us.... come to London, or fly the Shuttle all day.

Powdered creamer, no overhead bins, no closets for coats... now they are saying we can tie a light sportcoat to the bulkhead or something. Hello, have these people been to the Northeast? Do they know the kinds of winter coats people have?

Why is that now that we're making money it actually FEELs like we work for a bankrupt airline? And don't tell me these stupid things are whats making the profit. Apologize, aplogize, thats ALL we do all day... the A320 is a joke... our biggest customers see this and thier reaction ranges from shocked laughter to furious yelling.

I get it we're low cost. Then why is it all the low cost carriers have a better product than we do? The only low cost thing I'm seeing is my paycheck. All of these other shenanigans are just idiotic!!! Is losing customers and wiping away employee morale part of the business plan?

They need to hire someone to actually find out what the customers want, what they are willing to pay and what type of brand we want to be... You can't force white trash Vegas service onto these business markets, it just doesn't work and our customers are telling us this. All this letter writing to save little things like the ability to hang your coat as a first class passenger, have cream in your coffee... notdrink wine out of a PARTY CUP... is not going to last... they are just going to leave as many already have.

How is is that all the other majors, and the LCCs have a fairly consistent product that they use all over the country and the world but we can't get our act together and stop infuruating our customers?
 
If they ran a customer/ employee friendly airline, what exactly would we talk about on here? :lol:

BTW, are you still apologizing for Tempe on the airplane all day? I just smile stupidly now and shrug, that way passengers think you are stupid and leave you alone. Sad, but it works. :lol: :shock:

EMBFA......you hit the nail right on the head! :up: BTW, I don't apologize anymore on the airplane.....I just say that "this is the way it is now....we are America West with the USAirways name" and unfortunately I really don't see it getting any better as far as service and amenities go! Last week I actually had an AWA frequent flyer on a flight that said he felt sorry for us because of all the changes we are making to become more like AWA! :lol:

Yesterday I flew the 6:40AM LGA-CLT, and they had real 2% milk in F for the coffee. The F/A did what they do on United and other "full service" airlines--they had you the cup of coffee, and then a tray with sugar and---dare I say it---MILK!

In light of this recent discussion, I was somewhat surprised.

You guys and gals do an amazing job considering the tools you have to work with.
