Yeah, every spring that happens.Starting May 4th, there's going to be a second daily flight from Philly to FRA, using a Boeing 767, as flight #702 departing, arriving #703. Flight leaves 8:20p.
Is this part of the intl expansion? lol

How late into the fall does the 2nd PHL-FRA run this year?
BTW, didn't there used to be a seasonal second daily PHL-CDG service?
OK, Thanks for the info. I knew it would be tight. 757 is a great plane, its ashamed Boeing stopped making them. The A321 will never ever come close to what a 757 could do.In the summer the 757's have the range to service most mid europe stations. It's on the return flight that's the problem. Getting back to PHL without a fuel stop in BOS. Jet fuel expands with warm temps. So instead of getting 100,000 pounds of JP4 in the tanks, you might only get 95,000 or so in the tanks because of the volume. And I'm just using round numbers here. BRU - PHL is about the max without a fuel stop. And that's if the winds are not too strong and no holding for PHL. Adv. fuel stop 1 hr. from landing to take off if no adverse weather. A small number of our flights from AMS and BRU had to do this last summer. It's a great airplane, but not ment to be a oceanic aircraft when it was rolled out.

and 1 extra flight as compared to last summer
Yes if the sun the moon and the planets all line up we might be able to make it work. but throw a mechanical in the mix and the whole operation is down the tubes.....I know because I lived it last year and it aint pretty!!!!!!
