Sodas $3 Pillows and Blankets $5 apiece

Is there any way we could get our hands on literature besides Attache or Skymall for the pax to read? A few people magazines, sports illustrated, US weekly, Time? I bet pax would pay for reading material, $5 each.......or we could lend them noise canceling headsets for a fee......why just pillows and blankets? I cant tell you how many times I forgot reading material and had to read the IS Airways magazine the 8th time in a row....

Just saying that charging for "extras" will involve a slight responsibility that may turn into a very costly liability.

When you charge for a magazine, what if it is defaced in some way and the person, rightly so, wants money back or a replacement? What about a blanket leased/sold to a customer that ends up having something wrong with it, possibly responsible for a disease. A prosecutor would not have to prove a connection, simply showing the blanket is "dirty" would likely be enough for a substantial award.

I wonder if pursing this line of thought needs to be, um, fleshed out, so that, once again, US does not end up stepping over dollars to pick up pennies.

You cannot believe how offensive that comment is to me. It reminds me of African-American complaints in the 60's/70's that were met with "go back to Africa", just as intellectually bankrupt a response.

A gentleman goes into fair detail about problems with US and your answer to that you do not care enough to try to fix things. You have become just like the people in Tempe who could care less.

Here is an idea for you Tempe. How about you just raise the fares $1.00, that would more than cover the .50 cents the soda costs. Plus there would be .50 cents profit on each and every ticket. Then you would not be seen as nickel and diming all of our customers. You know the same customers you may actually want to purchase another ticket in the future.

The cost of fuel is out of control and I know every penny counts but if Tempe seriously think this is the way to go by selling everything and anything they are truly out of touch. It's WRONG people. On top of it someone mentions $3.00 for a CAN....yes a CAN of coke? This place is REALLY going down the tubes and after all the botched attempts to acquire and merge they are grabbing at straws. How sad....how TRULY sad this airline has become. We are in survival mode? Why the F are we? We are hurting more than others? Give me a break. This management team has absolutely no talent from the top down and it shows. Hell even Tilton from UA and their disaster of an airline wouldn't trust him running a combined airline. I hope selling everything but air will catapult us to the top and fend off that high oil. MORONS all the way around.

travelpro. i can totaly understand your frustration but i can guarantee you that if oil keeps going up the other airlines will follow . it's the way it's going to be for a while. i have no probelm with it. but that's just me. what's wrong is that oil is at $135 a barell .that's what's wrong. only a few more months till the bushy is out. not that that will change anything but it's a start.

It does not have to be about me to offend. You are not the only one to care about this company. Offending a meal ticket is a certain path to hunger. You need to apologize to van.
