station cuts for january

This is not about Gore/Bush.
Funny thing is with the company the rumors become true....

I guess Lakeguy stopped paying attention to the news after the Supreme Court ruling. Once again, ALL RECOUNTS THE MEDIA PERFORMED AFTER THE ELECTION PROVED BUSH WON. I am sorry this little bit of fact fails to help your cause. The only way Gore would have one if the recount was on the terms of the Democratic Party only, with those ballots clearly favoring Bush rejected and all overseas military voters disenfranchised.

If the PIT hub were downsized, or eliminated, the market would be looked at in terms of its O & D potential. As such, not a whole lot of new flights would be added by other carriers. It's not a natural hub, geographically. Like nearby Cleveland, where CO has begun to reduce its presence, reconfiguration as an RJ station might be the end result. There is nothing sacred about the place, although the terminal is among the best in the country for online transfer.

If you counted Chad and Dimpled Ballots, Gore would have won the state.

If you counted dead people, convicts and illegals Gore won too!!

Perhaps if Gore didn't serve under AND DEFEND a President who was primarily concerned with finding females so he could stuff cigars in their you-know-whats, selling pardons, lying under oath, turning down offers by Sudan to turn over UBL, etc etc etc, he wouldn't have had to worry about how Florida Democratic voters were too stupid to know how to cast their ballots in their Democrat-run Florida county. Perhaps more voters would have had more respect for the inventor of the internet and would have voted for him!

Joesy, as I said before to Gilbert, Siegel or Bronner are not responsible for the continued terrorist attacks, the double dip recession, oil rising to over $30 per barrel, air fares at 20 year lows, rising security costs, and the pending war with Iraq.

I know you are frustrated, everybody is, but there are very few short-term options for this industry in crisis. Pay cuts provide a 100 percent change to the bottom line and revenue increases do not, long or short-term. Therefore, I ask you like Gilbert, do you think these issues have anything to do with the incredible airline loses reported this week? What are your options or business plan for US to continue to operate versus transition from Chapter 11 reorganization to Chapter 7 liquidation in short order?

Ag, I agree.....but it's not just Gore....it's the whole democratic party.....like the bumpersticker says 'Liberalism,Socialism, Communism.....what's the difference?'

Couple of points.
Clinton, in addition to having affairs, was accused of sexual harrassment AND RAPE. Would it be ok if he murdered a few people as long as your paycheck was good? Where do YOU draw the line.
When was it the budget was balanced? After the repubs took over both houses? When did things get really bad? After Jumping Jim changed sides? What did Clinton do to stop Sadam? To prevent NK from getting Nukes? Stop Al Queda? He turned down Sudans offer to hand OVER Bin Laden. His massive empty tent, wage the dog, bombing of Sudan and Afghan only empowered Bin Laden and prevented his handing over to the merciful Saudis. Please tell us what CLINTON economic policy benefited you. Please be specific (I'll bet you can't). When did the recession start? Were the economic Statistics the last year of the clinton administation exagerated? What would the Dems do to turn the economy around? Lower taxes? (yeah right) Raise spending? (increase the deficit?) Sing Cumbaya?

[BR]Ag, are you better off then you were two years ago? The economy is crap, we have an unelected president who is gonna attack Iraq, which has not done anything since desert storm, it will sky rocket the price of oil, which will kill the airlines, maybe even US, but the truth came out on CNN several weeks ago, Bushhow can you trust Sadaam, he tried to kill my Daddy!.[BR][BR]Watch learn and listen.[BR][BR]And I bet no married man on this board would get on worldwide TV and say yes she gave me a *******. Oh come on. Be original for god's sake. Sounds like the same preachy dogma I see on the union news letters...particularly the IAM. Nothing new. Anyone halfway astute and with a basic knowledge of economics can see right through all that rhetoric. It may work on the few remaining single-issue stepford union hacks who never had an independent thought in their lives, whose interest in news never seems to stray beyond the sports page...but it just doesn't resonate with most union members anymore, myself included. I remember well the indignantly toned nasty gram of sorts the IAM sent to all of us after the GOP sweeps of '94, an election where exit polling showed 40%+ union members voted GOP or independent. They chided us on daring to march out of lock-step with the party line.

[BR][BR]Accused of rape? ha, anyone can accuse anyone of anything, I can accuse you of being a rectal cavity, it has no merit unless you have proof to back up the facts.[BR][BR]Heck back in the 80s Pierre Trudeau the prime minister of Canada and his wife were having swinger parties at the P.M. Mansion, no one made a big deal about it. We were the laughing stock of the world because we made a big deal about bill getting a hummer.[BR][BR]Like I said, Bush has made the economy worse and it will get even worse when he attacks Iraq, watch and mark the day.[BR][BR]By the way, we are not the World's policeman and no country can know what another country is doing, gimme a break. Heck our own citizens do not even know what our government is doing.

You are on the right track here Busdrvr, you can trace the beginning of this economic downturn to the fall of the tech stocks, which can be traced to the Clinton Justice Department's pursuit of Microsoft. Thank Janet Reno, et al, for saving you $5 on your next Microsoft product, and at the same time wiping out your 401K.

Obviously, Lakeguy is quite the shining example of our public school system with grammar like that. (badder?)

That is why Clinton sent the military into so many places huh? Somalia, Haiti, lobbing cruise missles at aspirin factories to one up press reports about his impeachment....

Yeah but this is a lot more fun than our collective problems!! Lakeguy, still waiting for you to tell me what Clinton Economic policies benefited you. Start with Rubin's strong Dollar policy, that'll help you understand why you don't have that much in way of international traffic. Do a Google search of Juanita Broderick'.
