A Walmart in northeast Ohio is holding a holiday canned food drive — for its own underpaid employees. “Please Donate Food Items Here, so Associates in Need Can Enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner,” a sign reads in the employee lounge of a Canton-area Walmart.

So would you rather they not do this gesture of goodwill for their employees (deleted by moderator)?

Shall I call JP Morgan in BOS and tell them your posting while you are suppose to be working or would I call AA?

And if all you can do is insult, shows what little character you have if any.

Maybe Walmart should pay a living wage so their employees dont need handouts.

And I guess you forget that more Walmart employee in the US are on Medicaid than any other company as their employees cant afford the healthcare Walmart offers.

Call whoever you want, doesn't matter it is ok for me to post I get my work done and often have down time between meetings and in airports. Everyone goes on personal email, Facebook, GChat, social media and other websites when you work 55-60 hour weeks you get certain privileges and aren't subject to the level of supervision you are accustomed to (or require?). None of your business who I work for or contacting anyone. If you don't like my posts put me on ignore.

By the way, your off topic again, lol!

If you post on a message board and post mostly falsehoods, you open yourself up to scrutiny, when you attack and insult people expect it back.

When you criticize others and their companies, your fair game, why are you hiding?

Maybe I should use my contacts in the financial industry.....

Company boy from CLT brought the thread off topic. How is LL 1725 doing?

Josh

1725 is doing great, solidarity is very high.

And if the best you can do is company boy, then you have serious issues.

Try to come up with something that none of us would hear on the Elementary School Yard Playground.

Does Rick know he is paying you to play in the internet and not do your work?

Believe it or not, inflation impacts the lowly paint store clerk far more than it impacts the CEO of the company.  Yet the CEO sees his wages inflate at a rate that is 10 times that of the line worker.  Could you explain to me that if inflation caused the line workers pay to increase by 700%., how come the exec's pay wasn't limited to a 700% increase?  Are there two different inflation rates at work here?

So basically, your saying as long as the CEO's wage increase was the same as the lowly paint store clerk, 700%, all would be right with the world...............even though the lowly paint store clerk would be making the same.........definetly sounds like wealth envy to me !

Didn't know unions were sleeping with the financial industry!

Where did kcflyer say that?
Err........read the thread ! He bitches about CEO's geeting 7000% raises compared to 700% raises for employees. Ask if he would be happy if the CEO's received the same 700% ?

700 what has Buffy done to support the Boeing workers in their struggle? Did he even get off arse to take a trip on the Lear to Everett for a show of solidarity or could he not be bothered? Once the threat of the IAM losing dues flow becomes real he will force the district to LOAs and impose the terms on the workers so the dues continue.

You need to clean your ears then.  I read about how the owners risked their own money and sacrificed their time to build a company.  No argument about that.  "Owners" like Bill Gates, who never earned a salary over a 1 million.  He also created a lot of high paying jobs.  The conservative dream...right?  So let me ask you....the clerk at the Home Depot paint department is making 700% of what my father made 56 years ago.  But how much money did Frank Blake (current Home Depot CEO) risk to start that company?  Why is he paid almost $4 million per year in salary?  Why do you confuse "owners" and "founders" with "executives"?   Assuming the CEO of the paint company back then was paid $50k (which is most likely a much larger amount that he actually made) - if his income increased at the same level the worker who sold and mixed the paint, his annual salary would be $400,000.  What did these guys do that makes them deserve a salary that is 10 times that amount?  And while the old timey low paid paint store CEO and founder was being paid that lowly sum, he was creating jobs.  Guys today that pull in 7000% of that pay are eliminating jobs.  Is that the dream world for you guys?  Yazah boss.
