Since you mention the EPA let me ask how was the air quality in the Pittsburg area before the Clean Air Act? I know the air quality in Chicago before it sucked. Older guys I worked with in LA who grew up there told stories that on bad days your eyes would burn.

Actually it wasn't that bad, we had trouble with the prevailing westerlies bringing pollution from mid western states that was making ours 'higher'. They adjusted the readings .
You should look up Pittsburgh in the 20's.
 
LA, we descended into LAX enroute to LAS and I noticed this layer out the window of brownish red clouds.....it was the smog.
 
EPA has gone overboard and needs reigned in with reg's. Too big for their britches, doing unconstitutional moves to private citizens. Pollution Nazi's.

Nope.  The hypocrites are the ones who are screaming about how the debt will ruin this country for our grandkids when it's run up under a black democrat....but a rapidly rising debt was welcomed with cries of "USA USA" when it was run up under a white republican.   And should the GOP win in 2016 (unlikely), the real hypocrites will be revealed when we watch that debt rise again, but start singing the refrain of "USA USA" as we send other people's kids to fight a war in the middle east.

Where were you when the debt was rolling upward from 2003 on?  Nary a word...just USA shouted over the strains of "I'm proud to be an American"....Kick a little Iraqi butt..even though they didn't do anything to us....borrow more and more to fight this 30 day war...and nary a worry about it.  But...in the highly unlikely event the GOP wins this year - I'll be watching to see if you are still upset about the debt.    Or will it be another round of patriotism that sweeps the country?
