He was supposed to finish 2nd in Iowa, he won with the MOST votes EVER in the Iowa caucus by anyone.
He was also the first Hispanic to win Primary or Caucus, ever.
He was up supposed to finish 5th, or worse in New Hampshire , basically a suburb of Boston, maybe the most Liberal city in the country.
He finished a strong 3rd after spending very little time and less than $800,000 in the state.

When Cruz announced for POTUS, I started this thread, I welcomed any and all to bring your Substance and let's discuss.
Still waiting for 700 to post anything of substance.
Let's see, he has real verifiable scholarship, damn, can't attack that.
Best debater of any candidate for either side.
Most consistent conservative ( this is where he is most like Reagan, and why he is hated by the Establishment right and the media)
So far they've attacked him on being born in Canada, fell flat.
They attacked him on getting loans for his campaign by putting up his own net worth as collateral , and that he's paid back or is paying back, fell flat.
Attacked him on the immigration issue, and it fell flat because he was trying to stop Rubio and the gang of 8, that attack actually backfired on Rubio and cost him , big time.
They attacked him in Iowa for saying he would remove the subsidies for ethanol.
He stuck to his guns and WON in Iowa even after the Republican governor an adds against him and said " anyone but Cruz".
Do you see a pattern here folks?
If there was scandal they could hit Cruz with , we would have seen it by now.
If you want to discuss the substance of his ideas, I welcome it.
