Temporary Injunction against USAPA filed today

Only ramifications are that you'll actually have to work instead of updating your work-action FB page.
 
Then perhaps the west side of this operation needs to be examined. You guys will do anything to make USAPA look bad, like answering the safety survey to counter USAPA's claims. So I'm thinking some guys out there might be carrying items to show a big difference between east and west. Maybe they need to look where items are written up, I mean just to be fair. After all it was you that said:

This is another example of failing to read and entire document, prior to posting an opinion. You had better read the whole enchilada before you start faulting the west pilot group. The data and charts are VERY damning against the east based pilots. Cleary (as expected) has led you to cliff's edge. The questions are: Will the head lemming jump? and Who's gonna follow him? Watch that next step.....it's a DOOZY!

The allegations against USAPA are just that, allegations in a legal compliant.
We haven't heard a peep from USAPA officially regarding the request for injunctive relief
The evidence has yet to be tested before a judge and a ruling handed down.
The allegations have no more validity AT THIS TIME then the rantings on this forum.

Now to the speculation part. Submitted for your consideration ponder what happens if:
USAPA prevails and an injunction is not granted?
USAPA files a SLAP lawsuit against US Airways?
The FAA sticks its nose in and finds some violations?
The West pilots get caught not performing appropriate MTC write-ups?
US Airways is fined for safety violations?
What happens if a majority of pilots vote to decertify USAPA?
If the LOA93 goes USAPA's way?

There's more than a few scenarios that could play out and perfect storm type of situation could occur that would lead to US Airways ceasing to be. Much like the parrot in the Monty Python skit.

Funny, you warn everyone that we haven't heard the other side..blah blah blah. Yet you had NO problem telling everyone and anyone that Scott Kirby assaulted a flight attendant, without an ounce of proof to back it up!

There was some proof, not enough in my mind so I dropped it as no one would come forward. There was definitely intimidation at hand.

1. The way I heard it the initial shove, push was unintentional as Scott put his hand on her shoulder coming out of the forward Lav and a F/A raised Hell. What was never clear was who complained, the F/A who was inadvertently shoved or the F/A who witnessed the whole thing.

2. It was widely rumored and near as I can determine that's correct that the flight was removed from Cat Crew. I have a screen shot of the Cat Crew display. What never became apparent has why. Given the nature of the underlying complaint maybe it was procedure to protect the F/A's privacy.

3. We do know that special procedures were in place to meet the plane in PHL, Why is a question that remains unanswered.

4. Rumor was that Kirby was trashed, Again, No Proof.

While I do think something transpired there was insignificant evidence and I let it drop as should have been the case. I made an allegation just as US Airways had against USAPA. So sorry to say no hypocrisy exists. I raised a question and there was not enough to support me passing the information onto the media. I try my cases in the court of public opinion as it's much friendlier to normal everyday folks and it's free.

That and because it pisses off US no end. There is no substantial difference between my claim against SK and the US request for injunction. Both are based on allegations. In one case (mine) there was no hard evidence so it was dropped. With US v USAPA we've not gotten that far.

BTW did you get a chance to review those two court cases involving CONTRACTS for FF Programs?
 
Slow taxi times......That is easy, for instance when taxiing to a gate at PHX and told you have opposite direction traffic and not to pass a certain intersection untill the opposite direction traffic is out of your way. Or you have told the flight attendants to expect a short taxi and realize that they have not started the safety tape untill you almost at the runway, or you had a runway change and CLP has not sent you weight and balance , or you have many aircraft in front of you for takeoff and know that as long as you are moving most of the passengers are happy but become unhappy if you sit for a while so you move slowly so as to continue moving until you are number 1 for takeoff. The reasons for taxiing slowly are inumeralble and valid but you don't always have the time to explain them to others. Of course we could do it the SW way and taxi at 50 kts. untill we reach the traffic jam and then slam on the brakes and screech to a halt! That always impresses the pax! There are many more reasons a pilot might chose to taxi slowly and he or she would see them as a safe operation and those that are so inclined would see it as a slow down!

I suggest that you read the complaint before commenting further. It will just make you look foolish until you do. The good doctor that did the math accounted for all of that. He had a base line from Jan 2008 to present. He adjusted for weather and traffic and other factors. So your single opposite direction traffic is nothing. Look at the big picture and the pattern is quite clear.
