Temporary Injunction against USAPA filed today

The east merger committee was given free rein at first. The west drew the line in the sand at no "furloughed" pilot ahead of Dave. The MEC then decided to go into arb. with their best case. That's it, no revisionist history.

Talk about revisionist history... Were you on leave of some sort during that period? That's the only thing that would explain such a lapse in memory....

You guys don't have the good sense God gave a walnut. An internet petition?

I like the "signatures" :

Jack Stephen sucks

Sore loser

Speaking of walnut sized minds, welcome back Pi brat. I got a chance to read some of your posts and your exchanges. Looks like you left here in sort of a huff. Did you get everything worked out? Looks like the west guys upset you. I'll try not to be that mean because its obvious you have little tolerance for it.

As for the signatures, there sure are a lot of legitimate ones. The very first one looks familiar. And if you cross check them with your seniority list there are quite a number of east guys that signed it. And I'm think it was an east pilot that wrote that "Jack Stephan sucks" signature after he put out that anti-USAPA letter in 2008. Would you like me to post that for you?

And the east MC was never, ever given free reign. That is a fact. But keep making things up you liar.

I would really like to see an "anti-USAPA letter from 2004." Please post.

USAPA was not even a glimmer of an idea prior to May 2007.

You go girl.

2CLT meant ALPA, not USAPA. Back then you hated ALPA before you started hated America West pilots. Now you hate Doug. Eventually you will hate USAPA, that's how it works with you people. The wheels on the bus go round and round...

So you're carrying Nos/sum's water now. Perhaps you have the elusive evidence that he couldn't provide....

Jim

I am carrying my own water...what is a "Nosum?" As I said before, and you are correct..I can find no proof in my years of archived forums posts from here and ALPA proving you ever gave a "peep" about what was happening to the Empire guys..to your own benefit.

Maybe my search engine is flawed. More likely it is your ethics.

Maybe my search engine is flawed.

It definitely is. I didn't have interest in or access to the internet till years after the PI/Empire merger. It is an interesting standard you use to convict others, though - no proof that someone didn't do something means they did do it. So very typically paranoid East.

Just out of curiosity, you do know that the internet as we now know it didn't exist till the early 90's? So what is the date on your oldest "archived" ALPA forum post?

Jim

ps - As you know - you used the combination of his two screen names that I gave him, not the name I used in my post - Nos/sum is an eastie that both makes up accusations against those who don't agree with him and paints individuals or entire groups with the actions of some. He is no better than a troll.

September 1994 is my first file. CompuServe Alpa forum. We all had real names then. Even that was almost 10 years after the crime. Maybe you wrote some strongly worded letters to Hank Duffy or Babbit I did not know about.

Jim, you are so busted. You never gave a rat about the Empire guys. I flew with them all the time..at least until they upgraded over the last few years. They say it was always the "Capt. Jim" show, and not a pretty one at that.

You are well known as the pontificator of everything and knower of nothing.

You know I always had one poster on here who I thought was the biggest A-hole two feet.

Nice to see he finally has some strong competition. 😀 😀

You know what they say? If you have a weak argument engage in a personal attack. Nice work.

So now you resort to lies? Yep, Nos/sum is alive and well in you...gonna accuse me of being the ALPA rep who single-handedly stapled those guys/gals to the bottom next?

I seriously doubt that the majority of former Empire pilots knew of me, much less knew me. They had no reason to, unless I talked with them in my role of permanent bid closing committee person (after the US/PI merger, mind you) and had no reason to speak to more than a few even then. Interesting, though, that I was the member of that committee that insured they got their DOH benefits on the F28 when displacements would have affected them due to their seniority number (that protection was never incorporated into the software). So much for "never gave a rat about the Empire guys."

No Jim. I was right here. Talking to the people that were doing the work and my west friends that were willing to share the truth. Tell me Jim, have you ever had discussions with members of the AOL leadership and Addington plaintiffs? No? I didn't think so. You really need to quit smoking. It affects all parts of your health, including your brain. I remember the pity I felt for you as I saw you skulking off to the smoking room in your Columbo overcoat. The fresh air in Alaska did you no good. Go get some exercise.

You got hired old. The PI/US merger went DOH. Get over it.

Lies, delusion and bullshit pre. What about you? You unendurable time in the right seat? Can't step on the backs of people that earned it?
So you're tired of lying, being delusional, and listening to USAPA's bullshit? Good for you. And let me know if I get too mean for you. I don't want you running off in a huff again.

How many years ago was that merger?

Your short absence from here hasn't changed you I see. You have been given revisionist history if that's what you've been told. I guess they omitted the "DOH or else" petitions, the threats of recalling the MC members and MEC resolution...

Jim,

I have talked with you since PI days.

I cannot believe that you are so shallow as that. You know that every merger has a basis, "slotting", "DOH", whatever and then there are C&Rs (conditions and restrictions) to alleviate any outlier placements.

The DOH basis always presents an easier basis upon which to base conditions and restrictions, it negatively affects less pilots that way meaning less complicated C&Rs. Proved time and again. Bob Kirsch, lonely east proponent of slotting, even agrees with me on that. Why complicate the issue to the point of unsuitability? Make it simple so that mergers down the road will have the weight of historical precedence. Some west dudes think this is needless citing changing sides as the situation presents itself (ATA potential merger). Unfortunately, you and I saw how Kegel handled the contradiction of PI's request for slotting vs how they treated Empire. The arbitrator offered PI a chance to resolve the contradiction and PI refused. I can only feel that any future mergers will be shaped by what we do today and a future merger ten years from now with a company with a, say, two year history will encounter the same problems.

DOH, in the case of east and west, with conditions and restrictions, protects the west dudes most of all, especially down the road. Like I tell my friends on the west side, had you taken DOH, you would now be bidding into wide body aircraft. Instead, now, you might work a wide body ten years from now. Control your greed for five years or suffer for fifteen years. I don't know, kinda seems kinda easy to me.
