And the only reason Obama has not signed more gun laws into effect or pushed for a full ban is congress would not allow it.   They knew they would be voted out next election.     It's not for his lack of trying.     Even the democrat controlled senate could see the writing on the wall on that one and broke ranks from Obama on that issue.

I guess it depends on ones point of view. I think violating Congressional law and trading arms for hostages is pretty bad. I also think setting up a war and getting 4,500 soldiers killed is also pretty bad.
