o my gosh... I just would like to let you know that when I first found out about this website and logged on for the first time, it shocked the daylights out of me...... I could not believe how people were talking to one another.. People that were going to eventually work together, day in and day out..... I started to deal with the fact that AWA was no longer going to exist and looked forward to working with new people. And then I started reading these forums and the U employee's started scarin' the crap out of me... And then I went to the AWA forum, and my own coworkers attitudes shocked me.I now know that most of the people's views and attitudes on this forum do not represent all employees, but I'll tell ya, those first few hours of reading were horrible. Looking foward to meeting you all someday here in PHX.......
......Hope everyone has a great day....................................................

I share your feelings. I find the lack of respect demonstrated on this and other similar sites to be deplorable.l

alohablue1, first of all, welcome to the board. Secondly, you cannot take this stuff seriously. For the most part, the crap flying around on this board is just that...crap (some factual crap, some made up crap). It's just lively banter from people that have this 'thing' in common called US Airways. It's the Internet and let me give you a tip: Despite the sarastic remarks, most of the people on here are pretty darn nice. That being said, things can get out of hand and you either just sit back and read it or hell jump right in the fray! Again, welcome!

Cya, communication today isn't what it used to be. Telling someone off on an internet bulleting board is much easier to do than telling someone off in person. This new way of instant communications may have grave implications in the future towards the health of our society. Generally speaking folks have more tolerance for one another when dealing with people face to face. Many folks will respond too quickly without taking a step back and waiting until there emotions are in check. Emotional posts usually have little value. Don't let the unhappy people scare ya off. Welcome and happing posting 😀

Hey, my parents have gotten a free ride for years. I never made them pay for their benes when they were charged and they have been flying completely free for years now. I think they can afford the payback. Hell, who am I fooling? I'll pay that too. Just a small payback to them for being my mom and dad.

I LOVE the dress code. You guys are all getting your panties in a knot and I"m thrilled to wear my daisy dukes on the plane and I'm a man. Please take mental note...I have no daisy dukes...not allowed on men or women over 30.

You guys really need to chill out on all of this. At least Doug is letting the various systems fly around to see how they work. Better than the cram it down your throat BS we at old US are accustomed too. Its a benefit, NOT a right, kids!! 😉

Guess we don't have it too bad.

DELTA CUTS PAY AND CHARGES FOR NON-REV TRAVEL
