Who was it that said "the genius of disinformation lies not in what's told, but rather what is left unsaid?"

Here's the lead paragraph from today's Newswire, NW's daily internal newsletter.

Northwest Operations Continue Amid AMFA Strike

"On Tuesday, 99.5 percent of all Northwest passengers confirmed on the airline's domestic and international flights completed their travel to their final destination. Those who did not complete travel that day were able to be reaccommodated on Wednesday.

Northwest continues to operate its early-fall flight schedule despite a strike by the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA). The airline has implemented its comprehensive operating plan involving the use of experienced, licensed mechanics who are trained and prepared to safely and professionally maintain aircraft, according to Federal Aviation Administration regulations.
"

So, how many flights were cancelled?

How much $$ was spent reaccomidating the distressed pax?

How much revenue did we give to other carriers?

What was our on-time performance?

Of those that were delayed, how long was the average delay?

How many actual people does .5% equate to?

Simple Answer Kev....

PAY NO ATTENTION TO THAT MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN!!!

What difference does it make these numbers are on top of union workers numbers. There are fewer and fewer straws for you to grab. Soon there is going to be nothing but air. Not bad for a bunch of lowly scabs, Huh?

It says they reached their destination. It doesn't say how many were on other airlines. Hmmmmmmmmmm

Northwest Airlines is turning off their schedule TV monitors in airports all over the country. I wonder why they would do that since they are having "no problems" 😉

Got a nice chunk of change from NW earlier this week. I think it was Su/Mo or Mo/Tu the pm MEM flight wasnt running as planned and we were able to reaccom quite a few of their people. Not sure of the delay reason, but more than happy to help you get them home.

Nothing but air? The Newswire I quoted was about as vaccuous (sp?) as they come. They want all of us actual NW employees to believe all is well, and assume we're all too dense to read between the lines. If everything really is going as well as they'd like us to believe, why not use the statistical info I asked for?

Well Kev how do you think things are going for AMFA now? I think we have pretty much gotten everything under control here at Northwest. Don't get me wrong we still have some glitches to work out. Paper work, parts control and tags are our biggest problem right now. As soon as all these guys get that down we will really be kicking someass. Let me also add that this computer program here is a bear to learn, its kind of tough finding what you want. The more exposure the guys get to it though it will become second nature to them. That’s always the hardest part about going to a new facility is learning their paper work and computer programs. Personally I think this strike is over with. It’s just a matter of formalities now.

<_< And they would resort prapagandists the likes of KTO!! That's all he is ! He's not a mechanic! Just a company stooge!

Don't even respond to him. He's probably nothing more than some bedridden, pathetic, SCAB lover. Notice that he's on here 24/7. How could he do that if he were actually working? He couldn't. Don't believe a word he says.

Fly you honestly don’t have a clue do you? Are you a AMFA striking AMT, or are you also just another troll telling your lies? I ask for all actual striking members of AMFA to let us know that you are here. Because all I have heard from here is a bunch of commie-trolls.

If I "don't have a clue", how would I know? 😛 😀
