The UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT

And insurance companies do not deny legitimate medical claims? Are people dying left and right in Canada and Europe because of denied claims?
As far as Europe, they won't deny your claims. No, they'll just milk the national insurance by extending your hospital stay or running tests that you really don't need. I speak from experience.

As far as me here and now...my copay is going up, my prescriptions are going up, the cost of my insurance premium is going up. This is all due to the Commie health care that is being shoved down our throats, and will eventually pass one way or another.

Regardless who is president.

No one sees single payor as the end game only some touchy feely thing for the uninsured.

Jacob Hacker, The Architect of ObamaCare :

No.................most are coming to the US for better care and to avoid long waiting lines !

Err................."Canadian official has heart surgery -- in the U.S."

http://voices.washingtonpost.com/checkup/2010/02/canadian_premier_has_heart_sur.html

And another point ! Some of my co-workers are practicing Obamanites and believe he can do no wrong. We have decent insurance coverage right now and these fellow co-workers believe they won't be exposed to Obama-CareTM because our company will continue to provide coverage simply because Obama will impose a fine on them!
I try to explain to said Obamanites that if a company is paying $5000.00 per year to cover you vs. paying a $2000.00 fine to Obama for not covering you and forcing you to stand in line with the rest of Obama-CareTM patients, which way do you think the company will lean. That's when the blank stares begin !

Look into medical tourism.

If a company is paying $5000 for insurance then they will not get fined. If they do not pay for insurance then the $2,000 will be more than they are currently paying. If they want to reduce their plan from $5,000 to $2,000 there is nothing preventing them from doing so regardless of the law.

Look up your ass!! The program was NEVER supported by the Majority of Americans. Here is a nice little blurb by noted pollster, Scott Rasmussen on ObamaCare.

Recent estimates suggest that the law would cause 11 million people to lose their employer-provided insurance and be forced onto a government-backed insurance plan. That's a problem because 77 percent of those who now have insurance rate their current coverage as good or excellent. Only 3 percent rate their coverage as poor. For most of the 11 million forced to change their insurance coverage then, it will be received as bad news and create a pool of vocally unhappy voters.

Additionally, the cost estimates for funding the program are likely to keep going up. Eighty-one percent of voters expect it to cost more than projected, and recent Congressional Budget Office estimates indicate voters are probably right. But it's not the narrow specifics and cost estimates that guarantee the ultimate demise of the president's health care plan. It's the fact that the law runs contrary to basic American values and perceptions.

This, then, is the third hurdle the law faces: Individual Americans recognize that they have more power as consumers than they do as voters. Their choices in a free market give them more control over the economic world than choosing one politician or another.

Seventy-six percent think they should have the right to choose between expensive insurance plans with low deductibles and low-cost plans with higher deductibles. A similar majority believes everyone should be allowed to choose between expensive plans that cover just about every imaginable medical procedure and lower-cost plans that cover a smaller number of procedures. All such choices would be banned under the current health care law.Eighty-two percent believe that if an employer pays for health insurance, the worker should be able to use that money and select an insurance product that meets his or her individual needs. If the plan they select costs less than the company plan, most believe the worker should get to keep the change.

Like everything the Empty Suit touches this will ultimately fail, must like a giant Solyndra. In some left handed way, Obama with considerable assistance from his predecessor have been excellent just not in the way they intended. 4 or more wars, volatile gas prices, massive debt accumulation, devalued currency and credit rating coupled with rampant Commodity Inflation has served to wake what Nixon called the "Silent Majority" and that majority is one pissed off majority. Why do you think we still have 4 candidates actively pursuing the Republican Nomination? Voters are vetting the candidates like never before. Obama is struggling to raise money, a sure sign he is in way bigger trouble then polls suggest. This year politically is going be like riding in a B1900D over Lake Michigan in a thunderstorm.

Don't be fooled by clouded facts. It really pains me to say it, but unions-especially teachers-are giving him more than enough money. He is probably a shoe-in for another term, because the ones who never voted will be once again out in droves to support their idiot hero.

Don't be to sure. We are a long way off. Articles I've seen is he has only raised about 45% of his goal so far. NOT GOOD as it means the big money is sitting on the sidelines waiting to see among other things, who the Republican Nominee is and how the Economy does over the summer.

He's not a shoe in but it's his race to lose not Romney or anyone else's race to win.

Its great but no one here will hear it.

So in the end insurance will become very poor for the consumer.

Someone will have to step in with an alternative. Wonder who that would be?

I remember someone else mentioning collapsing the system.

Many will dismiss it because it's from the Cato Institute, a well respected Libertarian think tank. Just as Heritage Foundation is for the right and Brookings is for the Left. These thrre groups are Intellectually honest and if more people read their writings the country would be a better place. Instead we get Rush Limberger and Keith Olberfart which leads us directly to Poop Heads Like Bush and Obama and dumb assed pandering to segments of the population.

GOD forbid I, or my better half was diagnosed with Cancer,..............NOBODY, I repeat.........NOBODY is gonna' tell me that I CAN'T go to the best cancer hospital in the World.......(Sloan-Kettering in NYC), .......................as opposed to being told I have to go to "Pleasantville General" ONLY.

Comprende ???

If you're paying for it, you can go anywhere you want to.

If you're not paying for it, take a number, and wait for your name to be called. It's not your money, so what makes you think you get to decide where it is spent?...

Oh, and I know this will make your blood boil, but the best cancer hospital in the world is in..... T E X A S.

MD Anderson is ranked #1 by physicians...

http://health.usnews.com/best-hospitals/rankings

If it's good enough for Herb, I'm sure it is probably good enough for you, assuming they're in your plan and you can get a referral from the health care rationing board...

I do find it a bit humorous that two of the three top ranked psychiatric hospitals are in Boston... Coincidence, Bears??... 😉

That's not nice, don't be mean, you shouldn't do that. 😀

Eleana drop a dime??

(Reuters) - President Barack Obama took an opening shot at conservative justices on the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday, warning that a rejection of his sweeping healthcare law would be an act of "judicial activism" that Republicans say they abhor.

Little bird tell him or what?
