Bears, actually saying Ya'll takes less effort, and of course you realize, we are lazy fooks down here in the 'Deep South!
I look around and see it daily! Red Lights are for Ambulances, Stop Signs are for Skool Buses and Texting/Yapping on your cell phone is acceptable if you are driving up & down I-75/85 in the Left lane at 50 mph and ignoring car/truck horns. This is the norm! Guess who it is? I won't say but I'll never 'Tan' that well... and it is usually female! Oh, BTW, taken with a small grain of salt LOL...
Back to xUT, Try walking down Cicero Ave around MDW to go get a six pack from the store... I did once, never again. Last time, I took a Bus, twice as scary. Now I just bring bring it with and check a bag on an over-nighter.

My better half flew to Atlanta this morning on DEL-DUH, changing a/c to TPA.
I asked her how it went, F/A's ....ATL...etc.
She said the F/A's were VERY nice. I told her they were the only major airline F/A's NON-UNION.
She responded that, ...upon reflection,....it could be why they might be FEARFUL of there Jobs.
As for ATL, she replied....They were pleasant, (I told her to read the above), and she said that the only difficulty was the 'struggle' they had with the ENGLISH LANGUAGE !!!!!!!!!

*I think you'd be surprised at the level of support RR's are giving to organization. Sure, some are ambivalent, but there's a lot more enthusiasm than one would think. 'Course, like I always say, the company is doing a great job of helping us organize them...

Again, Bears was the one that suggested ready reserve and DGS not participate in the election. DGS would be covered under a separate filing/election altogether. You have talked before about RR being a sticking point for many PM-NW full timers at DL but it seems it is here to stay. Nothing new to the DL people, they have been doing it for nearly 30 years and the program has been successful.

And yes I am serious, I have the book on request at the library. Will let you know what I think of it.

Of course this means you and 'Ya'll" be riding in the bed of said truck and when when we get there, you can carry our bags 🙂 Unionized Labor!

Great point there Southwind, I have flown Delta and have found much better service from air carriers that had 'UNIONIZED' F/As, unlike the Grandmothers who can't pour a cup of coffee and have a look of Terror in their eyes if you ring the 'Call Button'!
Plus Sherlock, Just what is the 'Rumor' then? I only said that to see your reaction and sure enough, you bit, Hook, Line and Sinker! ....
