<_<----- Haven't heard lately how TUL's grand experiment in "production line" aircraft maintenance is going! Could silence mean "failure"!??

According to recent company/company union propaganda "Everything is fine" and third party maintnenace is lined up down the runway and knocking on the door.

Of course there was no mention of the destruction of two Miami Air International aircraft during aircraft 1 and aircraft 2 visits.

Aircraft 1 had hydraulics deployed while engine cowls were open damaging the cowlings.

Aircraft 2 had the tail jack ran up and into the fuselage when the taildock was brought in with the plane on jacks and taildock hit aircraft knocking it off the jack. Patch repair was done, but latest report indicates lessor of the aircraft wants a permanent repair accomplished.

The next meeting, management reported how satisfied Miami Air International is with our maintenance operations.

<_< ----Whenever you're dealing with large aircraft there's always a chance of something happening. It's going to happen. Just keep it to a minimum! But what I was referring to was that thing where you move one aircraft between three docks? I forget what you call it. I know what I call it! 😛

Excess movement between the docks was a question brought up in our break area one day.
Sounds like aircraft 2 answered that one.

I grant you that MA was upset with us for damaging the first 2 aircraft. But they were more IMPRESSED with how we addressed the damage after it was done.
Sometimes you can squeeze a lemon into lemonade.
We also performed phase checks on 2 more MA B-737's without a hitch and on-time deliverly.

Having worked Fed Ex contract maintenance in 1995 at AA I DO NOT LIKE IT.It is a pain in the ass.
