How Many AMT Tech's are there @ AA? There are About 4500 US AIRWAYS Tech's Plus Materials Stock Clerks,Planners Etc; Probably about 5500 Technical Support People Total. If any Book worm knows exactly please Give up that info.

Don't know the exact number, but a lot more than US. After the bankruptcy who knows, but as of right now AA does a lot more in-house maintenance on a lot bigger fleet than US.

The BTS says over 12,000, but that may be including the "and related" employees plus at least lower management (supervisors/managers/etc). Suffice it to say a lot more than US regardless of who's included in the number.
